Hey so, ive seen you post about like, CSA a lot from a clinical perspective and I kinda have this idea that I've been floating around for a while. Would you consider spanking childhood sexual assault? I think a lot of discourse around child sexual abuse and pedophilia is based more around attempting to make CSA into something foreign and otherworldly in order to not grapple with how our society already treats women and children as sexual objects and I think the fact that someone penatrating a child is considered sexual assault but if someone is mad at a child and causes pain to a part of the body that in all other contexts is considered sexual its considered completely routine parenting and you'll have the entire state and federal legislature fight your attempts to designate it as child abuse legally.

obviously yes. if you spanked an adult it would be sexual assault & everyone would agree.
