In this au (yet to be named) it’s a pretty standard, some people can turn into dragons base premise. Including celestial dragons.

While the forms of dragons are vast, celestial’s have an ‘ideal standard’ for what a dragon truly is. One of the bigger ideals is a proper celestial dragon should just have scales. Due to this, It isn’t uncommon for hatchlings to be plucked or otherwise altered to fit in.

As part of his bid to get accepted back into Mary Geoise, Doflamingo did pluck his feathers. Despite failing he does keep up with the practice and later insists Rosinante does the same. Rosi isn’t quite as extreme, in part due to naturally having more feathers and his being more healthy in general. Most are clipped instead of truly plucked.

Both the brothers’ coats are made up of the shed feathers.

Predacon Seeker AU

Transformers AU, where the seekers are all Predacons instead of different types of jets! I am working more and more on this AU, and more scenes will come soon! I'm bad at drawing Mecha, but I am good at drawing dragons, so here we are!

They do have Cybertronain mech forms that they can transform into. They just prefer their dragon forms. It also is fun for the hierarchy of seekers!

*cue Starscream sitting on his throne and hissing at anyone who comes close.*

I also like to think that everyone else in the show is their normal frames, and it's just the seekers that have Predacon forms.

Also, they each have slightly different head features, beaks and tails. More detailed info on that to come later.

(Yes, the beak/head shape was inspired by Gigantron from Ultraman Rising. Which is such a good movie, btw.)

UHHHHHHHH i didnt even notice it was 3 or 4 AM when i finished these 😰 dear god

SOOO here are most of the secondliners, this is still just concept art but i think its pretty close to what i want,,,,,,,,,,, i need to redesign heat to be more creative,, and you already saw wood, which is why they aren't here lmao,,,

just posting the images in order of when i drew them, NOT in the proper secondliner order,, just so you can get a feel for my thought process on these back-to-back

design notes [NOT in order, either.. this seems to be a theme]:

yeah you cant see crash or metal in full <//3 wing too big [i'll make more comprehensive art sometime],, crash is the only wyvern-like dragon here though, metal does have arms. also metal's tail is inspired by pangolins lmao,,,,, and crash's wings are much tougher than they look, considering how his explosives work

i REALLY liked my idea for air man,, i tried to fashion his silhouette into more of a crest [not sure if it's plumage or his real body yet atm] + i tried to make it look like very powerful chest muscles which signals he's a good flier. i wanted to make his wings white but it didnt work with his color palette lol

i think quick looks better with wings so he doesn't just look like a raptor [oh yeah quick is a biped, he's just leaning forward really hard which is why he appears quad], they're shaped like peregrine falcon wings for obvious reasons,,,,,, he's not a powerful flier however. he relies on his running speed and bursts of fast flight/gliding as opposed to staying in the air very long. a bit like a cheetah, a draco lizard, and a chicken

bubble looks [a little] less like just a seal now !!! longer tail helps :D and i made the tube thing on his head a sort of specialized horn [uhh. long story, might loredump about it]. he's definitely one of the less threatening ones. could definitely still drown you if he wanted

why did i add so much detail on flash considering he's not even my favorite? ...... idk,,,,,,, i was trying to convey that he's an iridescent dragon, because flash makes me think of mirrors. it ties in with his reworked powers: he doesn't truly stop time, but he can stun others with bright light, leaving them frozen with shock for a moment

uhh!!!!!!!! i will design heat [well, redesign] sometime soon considering heat is one of my obvious favorites lol,, you also already know wood [although i have minor revisions]
