OH MY GOD THE UNDERWORLD SAGA SLAPPED!!!!!!!!!

Things about it that made me insane:

- POLITES?????

- Jay's mom as Odysseus' mom!!!!

- Odysseus' mom singing the SAME 'WAITING' NOTES AS PENELOPE DOES IN THE CHALLENGE

- MASONS VOICE!!!

- The ominous introduction into Everything That's Going On In Ithaca™ in no longer you (IT WAS DONE SO WELL)

- WHO??

- The part at the end of Monster where he sings the Penelope and Telemachus themes just like he did at the start of the Horse and the Infant!!!!!

Anyway great saga 10/10 so excited for act 2!!!

You don't understand, it's not that I could not be Odysseus because of all the emotional baggage. I wouldn't even get to that.

I'd be constantly crying because of all the mean things the gods tell him all the time.

Munching sand. Drinking salt water. Lotus fruit pie. Pull me out of Polyphemus' mouth.

poor man odysseus discovers his mom died waiting for him and doesn't even have time to process and grieve because a prophet tells him his wife will be with some other man (he's the man, or better i should say monster)

something something 'I keep thinking of the infant from that night' moving into Polites' reprise and the loss of innocence something something

Ya know, before the Underworld Saga came out I kept thinking about how heartbreaking it would be if Anticlea (Odysseus’s mom) had speaking lines and that was how Odysseus found out she was dead. But then I’d brush it off as unlikely and just figured Tiresias told him.

And then Underworld Saga come out… And it is exactly as heartbreaking as I thought it would be to hear Anticlea sing about how she died waiting for her son to come home.

If anyone is looking for me I'll be crying over the 30 seconds of Polites voice in The Underworld saga

So are we all collectively bawling our eyes out over Anticlea or is it just me because I will never be okay after that
