How to edit out text on Boundless theme slideshow

I’m new to Shopify and am struggling with the slideshow on Boundless theme. For some reason it says “Slide” in large letters over my images. I can’t seem to remove it. If it’s a css thing how and where do I find the appropriate folder to edit this out? Why would the theme Dev even have this there in the first place??!! I’ve added a pic with the culprit circled... (First reddit post ever, hope it shows up) Thank you in advance for your help!

5% of people reach checkout, only 0.5% purchase. anyone know why this might be?

I have free shipping, so that’s not the issue. I’m not expecting every single person who reaches checkout to purchase but I’m wondering what’s causing so many people to see the checkout screen and change their minds.
