kiaanarana:
“Rem, I don’t think you could afford me.” Kiaan teased. He had always done photos for her blog for free. He never felt right taking money from his friends, even though he was working for it. “But you can give me whatever you feel like the photos are worth. Plus, you know, keep my credit on them. The traffic on your site has landed me a job here and there.” He wrapped his hands around his mug that held his hot chocolate. He didn’t feel a need for coffee right now, not like he did yesterday.
“I need some details first. Where are we shooting, and what time. If you want natural light then we need to shoot midday. If we’re having professional lighting then any time works. If you want a mixture of both then I suggest early afternoon.” He sipped his drink and let the liquid warm him. “And am I only shooting you or are you going to try to find a male model too?” He smacked his lips together. “Lunch is on you tomorrow too. There that’s how you could pay me. A nice meal.”
Tumblr media
“You’re so bougie,” Remy chastised him, winking to signify her joking. They had always been able to joke around with one another in a comforting manner. There was just something about Kiaan that comforted the girl. “I will three thousand percent credit you for taking them and link to you as always. I’ll pay you if they’re better than these shit first tries,” Remy smirked, taking another sip of her drink and letting the mug warm her hands. There was something about a warm drink in the dead of winter that just felt like an old friend. Sometimes it felt better than sex - not that she’d say that out loud.
“I want professional lighting and indoors, I think - just because of the vibe I was going for. Perhaps that was my first issue, using an amateur to shoot outside,” she grinned, looking at him over her mug. “It’s just going to be me, love. Galentine’s is the new Valentine’s,” she joked softly, thinking about where to have lunch the next day the second he mentioned it. Even if Ice Cream was her favorite, food in general was her first love. “Okay, so McDonald’s?”

kiaanarana:
Kiaan flipped through the photos until reaching the end of her camera roll. The photos were horrendous, but he tried to keep a poker face. She could have done a lot better with this photographer but he assumed she didn’t have a choice, otherwise she would have asked him first. “They’re not terrible.” His eyes grew a little wide for a second, and his brows raised. “They are boring, you’re right with that. They’re just standing there. You gotta get models that make the clothes look good but can also act like they’re in love.” He shrugged a shoulder and finally handed the phone back to her.
If it was for Valentine’s Day the photos needs to express some amount of love. Even if it was just for the clothes, there needed to be emotion behind it. It could portray the idea to people that if they were wearing those clothes they could be in love and happy too. He thought long and hard, pretending like he was going through his schedule mentally but he knew he could make time for her to do a reshoot. “I don’t know Remy. I’m very busy this week.” He couldn’t help but grin and chuckle. “I can make time. Thursday works best for me but I can move around my projects if you need me to.”
Tumblr media
Remy knew that Kiaan was lying - why, she didn’t know. There was no reason for him to protect the feelings of the idiot guy she’d hired to take her photos. It was her fault - Ki usually did it for free and she wanted to pay someone for once. His portfolio was totally fake. At least, that’s how she felt now that she knew what his work ended up looking like. “They’re terrible,” Remy sighed, watching Kiaan’s face as he spoke. They were both relatively emotive people and she could usually tell more by looking at people than just listening to them. “But I think I want to go a different direction - you now how I usually just wear the clothes myself and have you take the pictures? I want to go back to that,” she sighed. Attempting something new was risky, like the models and new photographer, and it hadn’t turned out how she wanted.
“Please please please take pictures of me in pretty clothing,” she begged, leaning forward toward him and bouncing on her knees. Her free hand settled onto his forearm and she smiled at him when he said he could make time. The guy was a great friend and there wasn’t a doubt in her mind that the two of them together could get this whipped into shape in no time. “We can do Thursday - I have plenty of time Thursday,” she nodded. “I’ll even pay you this time.”

DON’T YOU WANT ME?
LOCATION → Andi and Remy’s Apartment
TIME FRAME → Monday Night - 1/22/18
NOTES → A drunken Tyler (@fcktylerandrews) asks Remy to watch a movie alone and well, it turns into a bit of a mess.
REMY
"It's open!" Remy called when she heard a knock on the door. She had a glass of wine in her hand, cheetos in the other, and was wearing a hoodie with some leggings.
TYLER
Tyler walked into the apartment as soon as he heard Remy's voice and even though the world was spinning a little bit he still smiled as he grabbed two spoons from the drawer and went to join her on the couch. Remy was definitely ready for a movie night but even in a hoodie she looked good. "Hi there, gorgeous queen," he said with a cheeky grin as he popped the lid off the ice cream and stuck the spoons in it.
REMY
Watching Tyler, Remy couldn't help but smile. He was clearly quite intoxicated, but what was new? She reached over and grabbed one of the spoons, taking a spoonful of the ice cream before kissing his cheek and nuzzling her nose against the same spot. "How're you doing, buddy?" she asked, knowing that sometimes these nights were a little hard on him. He either went wild or got a little in his own head. "I rented the one with the sad ending because why not?"
TYLER
Despite being drunk Tyler couldn't help how quickly his heart started beating in his chest when Remy kissed his cheek and nuzzled it with her nose. Sometimes when he was in this state of drunkenness he forgot they were just best friends and he let all his walls come down for her because nobody made him feel quite as safe as Remy did. She felt like home which was something he had always looked for ever since he was little. Tyler took a bite of ice cream before considering her question and answering, "I'm better now that I'm here. Less walking and thinking. That's cool with me though I might need tissues. It reallly is fucking sad at the end."
REMY
Humming softly as she took another bite of ice cream, she bit her lip and shifted her position to sit a little closer to him. "Will you grab that blanket?" she asked, pointing beside him. If she had a choice in the matter, they'd do this every night. However, Remy knew that Tyler had a revolving door of women in his life. Besides, they were best friends and she was here for him when he needed. "I'm glad you're better. How drunk are you on a scale of 1 to dancing on my balcony naked?" Remy giggled softly, taking a sip of her wine. "You can use my sleeve if you cry, softy," she spoke, smiling as she hit play on the tv.
TYLER
Remy knew him too well but it was what made their relationship so good. And she knew how to make him laugh. People sometimes underestimated how funny she really was. He nodded at her request though and put the blanket over them both to further ward off the cold of the night and shifted position so they could cuddle better. He felt truly at peace when they did this together and if he wasn't such an emotional trainwreck he'd have asked Remy to be his a long time ago. But he was a coward when it came down to it. When he thought of losing someone else. It was the one thing he couldn't stand to do so he hid any real feelings and ran when they got too serious with a girl. That's why he always had one or another coming home with him but never staying. The only girl who got that privelage was Remy even if she didn't know it. "Hmm....I'd do that sober for you but about a seven right now, babe. I'll try to contain my sobs though," he responded with a laugh.
REMY
Remy shook her head slowly, laying it to rest on his shoulder as the movie started to play. There was something safe about her friends and well, Tyler was also a little different. They tended to be able to pester one another and make fun of the other while still knowing they were there for each other. It was... something she'd never had growing up. Her siblings were all so put together and never needed her. So she pretended to be the same. "Oh, trust me, I know. Please don't though," she smirked, another sip of wine taken. "The guy in this movie is hot as fuck though," Remy spoke, her mouth full with a bite of ice cream.
TYLER
The feeling of her head resting on him brought a softer smile to his face and he dared not move after that in fear of her moving away. Tyler laughed again and took another bite of ice cream to distract him from the fact that he was thinking too much about how cute she was and sweet for always taking care of him.  "Maybe after the movie you'll change your mind," Tyler responded, getting comfortable and because he'd seen the movie before he couldn't help but keep looking away from the tv to steal glances at Remy. To wonder about what if's and then scolding himself for thinking she felt the same at all. But he couldn't be imagining there being something more there between them. The looks and the flirting and the subtle secret touches they shared when nobody else was paying attention and even more so the way she just showed up at his room in the middle of the night and would undress and slip on one of his shirts before climbing into bed with him. And she was the only one who he'd ever brought to his parents graves. The only one he trusted enough to cry in front of and hold hands with until the ache in his chest finally went away again. Those things and more made it hard to not feel so much more than friendship with her.
REMY
Remy couldn’t help but snuggle into Tyler’s body. A small sigh left her lips as the movie wore on, the comfort of another warm body was so underrated. If it had been up to her, they’d be in her bed watching the movie. Of course, sometimes she knew that boundaries were needed and when Ty was drunk, the more the better. Alternating ice cream with wine, Remy couldn’t have been happier. She laced her fingers with Tyler’s, thinking briefly about their usual antics, the way they lived life together. Her was such a good friend to her, she just wanted to do the same for him. “Who did you first see this movie with?” She asked softly.
TYLER
Tyler tried to avoid blushing when she cuddled closer and laced her slender fingers into his to no avail. Thankfully he could blame it on the cold if she noticed but she never did. Her voice broke the silence and he answered, "By myself. It was on HBO one day but if you tell the guys I watch chick flicks alone sometimes I'll deny it." His hand gripped hers a little tighter but he couldn't help his smile whenever they were together. Remy felt like home.
REMY
Eyes never leaving the screen, Remy smiled to herself at his response. If she were honest, her focus wasn't completely on the movie. "Oh, you'll deny it?" she asked, smirking as she looked up at him. Raising her free hand, she ran her thumb over his bottom lip before tapping his nose lightly. "Your secret is safe with me," the affectionate girl let her voice remain soft, glancing back at the movie.
TYLER
It was small gestures Remy did like kissing his cheek and touching his lips like that that made him want her even more. Tyler was completely unable to focus on the movie and instead kept glancing at her lips and thinking about kissing her. "Thank you. This is why you're my favorite girl in the world," he said honestly, wondering not for the first time if Remy only saw him as a good friend. But he was too scared to actually ask. If she said yes it would make things weird between them and that was the last thing he wanted. After a bit longer and a few more bites of ice cream he commented, "You really do make watching a movie hard. You're entirely too enchanting to focus on anything else."
REMY
Remy never really knew how to handle compliments - most of the time she just thought people were being nice. After all, her friends were so sweet to her and she wasn't sure if lines were crossed or if people were being genuine. Perhaps it came from a family where compliments were rarely offered. Blushing, she shook her heard, looking at Tyler once more. "and you're drunk," she pointed out for what was likely the third time that night. "You really like me when your stomach is full of tequila, you always do," she chuckled softly. In their friendship, she never wondered if he wanted her more than as a friend - she just always assumed he was like this with every girl. After all, he always made a point of how easy it was to get them.
TYLER
"Me being drunk has nothing to do with it. I feel the same way about you sober. You just never take me seriously," Tyler retorted with half a grin because he could tell he'd flustered her a little but he was also only half joking. And sure he was drunk but it didn't make it any less true. It wasn't as if he was necessarily happy with the way things were between them. At least outside of their friendship which would always come first to him. And the liquor made him bold enough to test those boundaries and see what might happen if he pushed at them carefully. It wasn't like the two of them hadn't hooked up before anyway even if that had just been a physical thing. She just had no idea how much she actually meant to him.
REMY
"You being drunk has everything to do with it," she retorted, rising from her spot to grab the ice cream and put it in the freezer. If her beloveds melted, she would be far sadder than the movie would make her. Refilling her wine, Remy slowly made her way back to the couch. There wasn't anything for her to say back to him. In her own chest, she was never quite sure of what she should do or how she was feeling. That's what made having her father out of her life so much easier. The girl lowered herself onto Tyler's lap, deciding playful was a better option than too serious. "Keep me warm," she hummed, nuzzling her face into his neck before taking a sip of her wine and letting her eyes settle on the screen once more. "I just don't see the chemistry between these two. It's like an awkward tango,"
TYLER
Her answer made him roll his eyes because she'd proven his statement true again. She really didn't ever take him seriously. Then Remy was gone from the couch with the ice cream leaving him cold for a moment until she returned with more wine and found her way into his lap this time which she knew very well would make him want her more. Remy was oblivious to a lot but she wasn't that oblivious. He knew she knew exactly what she was doing to him. "I can do that," he responded as he wrapped his arms around her waist to hold her there before adding, "Just wait. They make it work...sort of. Anyway don't wiggle too much or I won't be much of a gentleman tonight."
REMY
"Would you like me to move?" Remy asked, her tone serious and voice lowered, though the look on her face counteracted it. There was a lot underneath her flirtatious demeanor, but she wasn't sure who to let in, so she just didn't let anyone near her issues. Commitment drove her mother insane - at least, that's what she had seen happen. And besides, Tyler and her had discussed their sexual chemistry. They were on the same page as being very, very casual. Again, that's what she kept reminding herself. Friendship came first. No matter how good a guy was in bed.
TYLER
"Absolutely not," Tyler retorted, his face falling into a pout. The only place he wanted her to move was into bed with him after the movie was over. And he actually was pretty tired after drinking all night. He just held her a little tighter and tried to fight that feeling and the others he'd been letting slip tonight. They were just friends. She didn't have feelings for him and he knew that to pretend otherwise would be foolish on his part. Tyler was always overprotective of his heart. Nobody could hurt him if he didn't get too attached to them. "Sorry. I'll shut up so you can watch," he added, turning his attention to the screen again as he shut down his earlier emotions.
REMY
Remy sighed softly as to not bring attention to herself, eyes focusing on the screen, her mind anywhere but there. The wine was beginning to cloud her judgment. Slipping her hand over his neck and running her fingers absentmindedly into his hair. She hummed softly, feeling like she finally was comfortable for the first time that night. Part of her wanted to turn and kiss him, but she knew that stepping over the line after his  words could make things a little murky for her. Particularly because she didn't know how she felt about him. Worrying her bottom lip between her teeth as she watched the screen, her eyes glazed over,  his words repeating themselves in her head.
TYLER
The feeling of her fingers in his hair made his thoughts wander again but they were strictly about kissing her again. It didn't help any that she was biting her lip. The movie played on but he could only resist the urge for so long and eventually he reached up and turned her head to face him, his eyes searching hers for a moment for a sign she didn't want this before he pressed his lips to hers when he didn't see any. He didn't want to worry too much about anything right now especially when they were so content with each other and he was too drunk to be overthinking things anyway. And kissing her made him feel better so that's what he felt like doing.
REMY
The kissing would always be well received, it never felt forced or contrived or like she owed him anything. However, the last thing she wanted was Andi walking in and - well, it still didn't stop her. Remy's lips moved gently against Tyler's, her tongue darting against his briefly before she pulled away for a short moment. "Ty," she let out a shaky breath before pressing her lips against his once more. She could feel the glass of wine in her hand slipping, but couldn't let herself pull away just yet. Alcohol and clouded feelings clearly had a drastic pull on her.
TYLER
The sound of her voice saying his name like a prayer was enough to send shivers down his spine and Tyler returned her kisses more eagerly, his hand moving to set her glass down on the table before she spilled it and ruined the mood. The last thing he needed was Andi bitching at them for getting red wine stained into their couch. Once it was out of the way though he didn't hesitate to move his hands to her ass and pull her closer to him and he knew there was no way he'd be able to stop himself now even if he wanted to. She had him under her spell the moment she kissed him back and he was weaker for her than he'd ever been for any other girl. He just hoped they weren't too loud in case Andi was asleep but sometimes it couldn't be helped.
REMY
Remy was certain that this was a little too easy for them to fall into. Alcohol and kissing only made a bed for them to lie in and well, the dark haired girl wasn't sure if she wanted what that meant. A small moan vibrated against his lips and she made herself pull back, her hands now on his shoulders, his on her ass. Swallowing, she shook her head. "This is a bad idea," she mumbled, a groan leaving her lips easily. It wasn't that she didn't want to go further than this - but she hadn't showered today, he was drunk, and they were literally on Andi's couch. It wasn't a good idea, just like she said. "I don't want Andi or anyone else for that matter to know about the fact that we've had sex and this," she pointed between them and then around the apartment, "is a recipe for disaster,"
TYLER
Tyler was sure they'd have moved to her room after some kissing and feeling her moan against his lips but Remy quite suddenly pulled away and shook her head at him. Tyler's eyebrown knit together in confusion and concern and then she spoke and his heart sank in his chest. He swallowed his hurt though and moved her off of his lap before nodding and saying, "Alright. I think I should go then, Rem. I don't think either of us was paying much attention to the movie anyway and I'm drunk and I don't want to push things." Truthfully it wasn't the not having sex that bothered him at the moment. That was always her choice. But hearing that she didn't want anyone to know about them kind of hurt. It made him feel like she was ashamed of hooking up with him. Before she could object he mumbled a quick, "I'm sorry," and then got up to leave and go to bed and hopefully forget this part of the night had happened.

“I swear, though, if he even tries to tell me that he’s looking out for my best interest one more time, I’m going to lose it,” Remy ranted, huffing loudly. It wasn’t uncommon for her to be overdramatic about absolutely nothing. Most of her friends handled it well. Taking a sip of her wine, she walked over to the fridge, opening the door as she scanned it. “Okay, enough of me being a grumpy old woman, Madison. Do you have any juicy gossip for me? I’m going to die if I have to live without your interesting life,” again, she spoke dramatically, settling on more wine rather than a snack.
“Tell me something crazy happened at work or with a guy or girl and let me live vicariously through you,” The dark haired young woman sat down at the kitchen table, slumping onto its surface.

kiaanarana:
This was the second day in a row Kiaan and Remy ran into each other at a coffee shop, except this one was actually planned. She had gotten the final photos from some project she was on over the weekend and was not happy with the outcome even after the editing. He’d received a text from her telling him to meet her at the shop she worked at after her shift. Even through text he could tell something was wrong. He stayed silent as she ranted on, and held back any laughter. The photographer couldn’t be that bad, but he always liked giving people the benefit of the doubt.
“Come on,” He grinned, gently nudging her. “He was not 12. And if he was then cut him some slack, he’s still learning.” Kiaan sighed. “Don’t apologize, I had my own shoot I was working anyway over the weekend. I wouldn’t have been able to handle your project.” He gave a small smile. “Now, do you have these photos, maybe I can salvage them,” There was a short pause. “At a discounted price.” He added on light heartedly.
Tumblr media
“He was totally 12,” Remy whined, running her fingers of her free hand over the sleeve of Kiaan’s shirt. The girl was affectionate through every version of the word and she couldn’t help herself. It was the way she felt most like she was expressing herself, though she knew people sometimes took it the wrong way. “And I just hate working with little boys who make stupid comments and have almost no control over themselves,” she turned her nose up as she spoke, shaking her head. Taking a sip of her coffee, she smiled widely into her cup as he joked around with her.
“Ki! You’re not supposed to be too cool for me,” she whined once more. It was easy to enjoy her life when her friends were around and Kiaan was always a reminder of that. “Here,” Remy handed him her phone, crossing her fingers that he didn’t scroll the wrong way - she had a lot of inappropriate pictures of herself on her phone. Probably not the best idea. “They’re for this post I wanted to do next week about Valentine’s Day outfits, but look-” she nodded at the phone. “They’re just so... boring.” huffing, she wiggled in her seat. “Do you think you have time this week to just reshoot them with me?”

fcktylerandrews:
Of course he flattered her. Tyler liked putting a smile on Remy’s face especially when he knew how hard she was on herself sometimes. She was always worried that she wasn’t doing enough with her life or that she was somehow inadequate but that simply wasn’t true. Her words made him laugh along with her and he remembered again the parts of Remy that he loved. Even her teasing was just a normal part of their banter. And they always had a good time together no matter what. He was just glad they had each other and their other friends and the added bonus of living so close to each other. It felt like their apartment building was a real home for them and honestly his friends were his family.
Tyler had lost both of his parents when he was young and no siblings so he’d had it kind of rough growing up with his grandmother and no parents around and she’d passed away a few years ago too. Now it really was just him and these five people he had made into a new family for himself and as much as they goofed around together they were always there for each other. Remy always came with him to the cemetery to see his parents when he asked but it was things like that that made them so close. “We’ll see how I feel once you’ve got a buzz going but I’ll catch up as soon as I get off then I can call you to take care of me and I knew because I’m bad ass at my job and when you get internet famous on that blog of yours you can tell everyone how awesome I am,” Tyler teased, flashing her a smile that had won over more than a few women.
Tumblr media
Tucking a lock of her hair behind her ear, Remy looked back up at Tyler. There were two things about this guy that kept them being friends - trust and really beautiful eyes. Their friend group was fairly tight knit, but sometimes Remy felt like she was the glue. Like if, for some reason, she moved back to San Diego, that they’d all fall apart. Of course, she had to check herself because it wasn’t like she was that important. It just felt that way at times. Smiling at him as he spoke, the dark haired girl simply couldn’t help but think about how much her friend had been through. A lot of loss and a lot of heartache, but still the strong, lighthearted man before her. Proud mama moment.
“I’m staying for an hour and then I have to go home to make sure I actually post something today,” Remy pointed a finger at him with her eyebrows raised, another sip of the drink down the hatch. If it was up to her, she’d spend all day drinking and all night eating massive amounts of veggie burgers. “My internet fame will not be used for your gain, you fuck!” she laughed as she spoke, shaking her head, some hair falling into her face. “You used to suck at this job, don’t even,”

fcktylerandrews:
Despite the amount of teasing the two did to each other Tyler had to admit that Remy was one of his favorite friends. Mostly because ever since they’d become friends she was one of the few people who would come to visit him in the middle of the day and have a drink. Of course their whole friend group frequented the bar because he worked there but secretly he enjoyed these times with just the two of them more than he cared to admit. And it wasn’t like he was blind. Remy was beautiful and a much better view than the older crowd he usually got in the middle of the day which was why when she came through the door to cure him of his boredom he couldn’t help the smile that appeared on his face. Plus as an added bonus she gave him a kiss on his cheek when she sat down before asking for her drink.
“One tymy coming up, gorgeous,” he said as he grabbed a glass to start mixing it for her. “That kiss gets you the first one free. Thank God you’re here though. I was tempted to start doing shots, It’s been dead in here all day,” he said, only half joking despite it being pretty early in the day. Tyler was definitely prone to doing anything that kept him entertained. He hated being bored more than anything but he always found some way to have fun even when it got him in trouble sometimes. Remy had been witness to more than one of those misadventures but he knew despite herself she enjoyed his company too. That’s why she’d come in this weather to see him when she could have been warm at home and that meant a lot to him. Once he was done mixing her drink he set it down in front of her and leaned against the bar so they could talk.

Remy unashamedly watched Tyler as he made the drink he so fondly named after the two of them. He was handsome, had a nice butt, and usually made her laugh. They’d been friends for such a long time that it felt like her ass had a permanent mold into each of the stools in the bar. Besides, being here was better than sitting in her and Andi’s apartment wondering where she went wrong in life. Tyler was able to make her forget about the fact that her lack of direction and career was something that she shouldn’t worry too much about. Her blog made her enough money to at least pay rent and the random styling jobs paired with her coffee shop gig filled in the rest. Tyler’s humor and lighthearted flirting always reminded Remy that she wasn’t doing so bad. Not many people could say they had an insanely amazing, close group of friends.
“You flatter me,” she winked, pulling her phone from her coat pocket to set it on the bar. Of all of her friends, she was likely the worst at living without her phone. After all, Remy’s blog and life seemed to revolve around her availability. “And the undying love and friendship gets me the rest of them for half off, yeah?” she chuckled softly as she removed her coat, the bar’s warmth finally blanketing her body. It was times like these where she tried to remember why she moved to this god forsaken city. This beautiful, bustling, cold fucking city. “I figured you might already be three sheets to the wind, but then I remembered that you actually call when you’re shitfaced,” Remy laughed easily as she spoke, glancing at Tyler over the glass as she took a sip. The alcohol warmed her insides almost immediately. “Mmm, Ty, this is your best one yet. My god, you’re actually getting good at this. Who knew?”

@kiaanarana (1/23/18 - daytime)
“No, but Kiaan, this photographer was total shit,” Remy spoke easily, her left hand wrapped around a mug of coffee. Her shift had just ended at the shop and she was curled up on a comfy couch, venting to Ki about her frustrating experience over the weekend. Their shared love of photography (hers more of a distant observation) made it easier for her to tell him how she felt. “Like I know it’s not your dream - to take pictures of women’s clothing, but you at least know how to make the clothes and the girl look good,” Remy’s free hand flew around the air as she spoke.
Having met Kiaan in the industry, they both knew each other’s strengths and weaknesses - she took criticism of her outfits too seriously and well, Ki was perfect. The sable haired woman shifted on the couch and groaned. “I’m sorry. I know I sound like a broken record, I just wish I could’ve gotten you the job. This kid was like... 12.”

@fcktylerandrews
Instinctively, Remy felt like she should probably have said no to venturing through the cold, gloomy New York weather to make sure that Tyler  didn’t start doing something stupid to rid himself of boredom. Of course, there had been worse evenings of cold - but as a California native, anything under 70 felt like a blizzard. Running her fingers through the ends of her hair as she walked into the dingy establishment, Remy made her way toward the bar. Tyler was one of those friends that you had to love, despite the fact that you might feel slightly nauseous about them. At least, that was how Remy described him at parties.
“Hey there, hot shot,” the young woman spoke playfully as she slid onto a stool, leaning over the wooden bar to kiss Tyler’s cheek. It was a go to for her with all of her friends - though some were more prone to teasing her for it than others. “Where’s my drink?”
