It is almost funny how Danny Phantom is one of those rare cases that the fans don't want the creator to be involved in new sequels or entries not even with a 200 foot stick because they know that he would probably mess it up one way or another

So, FMAB has put me into an angst mood. I’d like to think I’m improving on facial expressions with this new creative boost. Anyways this is what Valerie faced when Ellie died. To make it more painful, Valerie and Danny were dating but Valerie didn’t know about Danny’s identity or Ellie’s.

So yea Danny is uh, not well. Instead of Rivals to Lovers it’s Lovers to Enemies to Lovers, or something like that.

I was listening to First Burn while drawing this cause I felt the betrayal theme fit. Fun fact for any musical I like I’ll sit down to listen to the full thing; Hamilton is the only one I haven’t done that with. Idk why

I know I've said it before but I'm saying it again, I just absolutely adore how Danny's eyes glow green in human form when he's getting particularly mischievous, not just when he's especially angry

Like this boy has a built in warning signal for when he's about to be a little menace to society and I love that for him

I’ve been watching Danny Phantom and I get it. I get it now.

This show loves to make some offhanded comment, not a hint of consideration or concern in its tone, and just moves on without addressing it like that wasn’t the most creatively horrific concept this side of Nickelodeon. Shit makes up wackass lore on the spot and then disregards it immediately after, asks fascinating questions then looks at you funny when you try to answer them.

I now fully understand how this show has legions of fans dedicated to taking this somewhat mid cartoon and running so far with the implications of the premise they created an entirely different show that’s so much more interesting I’m upset it’s not real.

Love that while online fandom in general is having a weird meltdown about the morality of enjoying anything darker than sanitized fluff in fiction, the Danny Phantom fandom is still sitting in the corner 16 years after the show ended with a blankie and cocoa and their 10,000th deep-fanon supertorture cannibalism vivisection psychological horror fic
