10 things I wanted to tell you for the last time.

I have no memory of you anymore, but I think it would be better to say goodbye, once and for all.

I forgive you for being what you are. For being selfish, for failing to see beyond your own needs. I will never understand why you are like that, but nevertheless, I forgive you. 

These days,your name still lingers at the back of my head. 

Sometimes I still wonder about what might have been, but I have already accepted that when people leave, they usually leave a lesson behind. 

Thank you for leaving me in bits and in pieces, because if you hadn’t trampled my heart I wouldn’t have learned how to fall in love with myself first, and in doing so find someone who finally loves me and gives me more in return, someone who kisses me good morning, gives great hugs and finds poetry within the galaxies of my eyes.

If we haven’t met I wouldn't have met the love of my life.

You have been a learning experience for me. I hope you learned something from me as well.

You don’t have a special place in my heart, but you will always be there.

I hope you find a girl who you will truly love, and in return will love you as well.

And lastly, I wish you happiness, something that you never gave.
