Do any of you remember that time The Originals, specifically episode 2x05, said, "Fuck it everyone hates Mikael" cause like for one glorious scene, Klaus, Davina, Kol, Marcel, and Hayley were all on the same side, standing in a bad ass line of power and strength against Mikael the Destroyer.

Like damn was that one scene amazing, for a few glorious seconds everyone was on the same side, and then that moment ended (Yes I just quoted Tangled to explain an originals scene deal with it).

Oof, me trying to rewatching just under two seasons of this show in 48 hours before it leaves Netflix is gonna damage my brain so hard.

Why was Klaus on his knee in front of Cami in 1x04 of The Originals when he was telling her he would find out what happened to her brother, and all she had to do was sleep and dream of a far better world? Like why did he have to do that hmmm?

Okay so correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t Cami there every time we see Klaus’ own brain conjure up something in The Originals? I can recall three instances:

1. 1x20: Klaus dreams of Kieran’s funeral, where he walks in, sees Cami and kisses her cheek in greeting (clearly IRL he was dying to comfort her since he had been helping her with Kieran but he let Marcel comfort Cami because Cami called Marcel’s name in the dark), then opens the casket and finds his baby instead who he tries to pick up, at which point Mikael’s ghost from the other side hijacks his dream and threatens him

2. 4x02: Klaus has been stabbed by Papa Tunde’s blade and his brain conjures up Cami to deal with the pain and make him reflect and focus (it is implied this also happened when Marcel stabbed him with the blade the previous time, which was in 3x22)

3. 5x13: Klaus has been possessed by the Hollow, with the Hollow taking Mikael’s appearance and trying to get him to kill Hope, and Klaus imagines Cami to remind him of what really matters to him and what he has to do

Like bloody hell, they cooked with this. Wow.

It’s kind of funny that people keep arguing about which love interest Klaus Mikaelson loved the most when canonically he would have screwed his family over in order to bring Cami O’Connell back from the dead. And knowing him, he would have justified it perfectly.

Klaus and Hayley both implying they would be willing to eventually die just for the chance of being with Cami and Elijah again is something so personal to me

I like Cami and Klaus more than Caroline and Klaus.

And Cami is SOO over hated. She is genuinely one of my favorite characters.

Klaus has told Cami he loves her, he never told Caroline that. Not even on his deathbed. Klaus has also called Cami, his true connection, his solace, his soulmate, the one who quelled his rage and instilled goodness in him, the one he’ll carry with him forever. People think anything comes close to that ??

No, people think that Cami is too boring or a cheap copy of Caroline or has stolen Caroline's place. They think Klaus with her is out of character. They hate her and some are so rabid they literally bullied Leah Pipes and had her fired (also Plec and the others' fault because they didn't have a backbone) and Cami killed off.

They just hate that Cami is to Klaus everything they want Caroline to be.

Is it just me, or do you read more into this scene than there is supposed to be?

Klaus enters the room at precisely the right moment. Hope and Cami share similar colors. They are dressed in similar colors. They look like mother and daughter.

No disrespect to the wolf queen. Love her!!!

But it seems intentional to me. The way he walks in, the image he gets to see, the way he smiles, and the scene we get to watch...

It looks like I'm diving into his wild dreams of having a family with Cami... JM's acting says that to me; I can see that image in his eyes.

And they look just so perfect together.

Maybe in another life, another time.

Everytime i remember how camilles actor / character got bullied so much for being Klaus’s love interest to the point they killed her off the show, i actually start tearing up. I remember how the writers had it set for them to end up together and it was ruined.

I wish there was more content and a bigger fandom for them.

They were my everything. The first ship that i ever thought about. The reason i got so interested in psychology. The first media that i became a genuine fan of.
