hey, long time no see.

i hope you’re all safe. i hope you’re all doing as well as you can. i never intended for this blog to die, and in a way it never will, because i’ll never delete it, or officially close it, and if the mood strikes me i want to keep the option open to post, but i have had to prioritize my health over the past few years and found that actually, the GIFs were making my chronic migraine significantly worse. i’ve focused a lot on my personal work in the meantime, trying to take care of myself and my mental and physical health, pursuing my art career, and taking a step back from fandom involvement. i put off making this post for so long because i always wanted to get better and come back, but unfortunately that’s not how disability works. i still love rhett and link and watch every episode and enjoy their incredible work, have loved learning more about them as people, have loved their newfound freedom, but i can’t really find it in me to make the blog content and manage the playlists the way i used to. if, for any reason you want to keep up with me personally, my twitter is lovelylandfill and i’m active over there.

starting this blog in 2013 gave me a reason to keep going in the darkest time of my life. i will always, always be thankful for everything it gave me, for every part of this community and how welcomed and appreciated i felt as a part of it. i will always be a mythical beast. i will always do my mythical best. thank you for everything.

sorry to have been gone for so long. these last few months have been really hard for my entire family--my grandmother (97) was living independently, but i was acting as her caretaker. she passed away in mid january. i have been away from this blog due to intense family responsibility for a while now, and i’m just starting to get back to life after her passing. i miss her immensely but i think coming back to this blog will help me in the long run. i can’t promise daily updates but i do promise SOME updates. there’s a lot of gifs i have wanted to make but haven’t been able to. hopefully i’ll be back to almost normal soon.

Hi,

We are completely aware that the Mythical Entertainment stream had issues for the first 20 minutes of their event. This is why we convinced them to provide replay for everyone. However, they refused to do so and decided to just provide replay access to those who will be contacting our support team. They also banned us from answering messages on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

Although they provided replay access, they've taken it down after 48 hours and made it available for 10:00 PM Pacific time November 9 only.

Please note that we are receiving a lot of complaints from viewers however, please understand that we are not responsible for the stream specially for the uploading of VOD replay. We are simply providing the payment platform for the events.

As much as we want to provide the VOD replay for all viewers who purchased, our hands are also tied since Mythical Entertainment Team decided to take it down. They are also refusing to provide refunds.

I hope you'll understand. If there is anything else I can help you with please don’t hesitate to ask.

the thing that still remains unanswered is that i wrote in well before 10 pm november 9th and was only responded to at 8:43 pm, told that the stream was already down, and that basically tough shit.

at this point, whoever is actually making these decisions and screwing people over who paid 15+ dollars to watch a shitty, glitched out livestream, honestly come clean and make it right. you already got our money. give us the damn show.

whiny mod post re: tour of mythicality and the apparent curse i’m under

guys, i gotta be straight with you, i’m really annoyed. first, when my sister and i went to see the tour of mythicality live, the seats we paid for turned out to be standing room only, so my disabled ass collapsed on the floor halfway through the show and i had to leave before the q+a. then, when the livestream was announced, i got a ticket to that to see everything i’d missed, and the stream was a glitchy mess with barely any audio for the first half. now, when i contact customer support to see the replay, i’m told that it has been taken down because it would only be available until 10PM PST november 9th an hour and a half before 10 PM PST november 9th. Cleeng is blaming Mythical Entertainment and I just want to actually FINALLY get what I paid for. they should have sent a VOD coupon to every single customer that paid for that garbage stream. has anyone actually successfully watched the VOD?

so, an update...customer service says that mythical entertainment has taken the VOD down? Saying that it was over on november 9th at 10:00 PM PST, however at the time i got this message, it was only 8:43 PM PST?
