When I tell people they can simply shift with daydreaming and they hit me with "but I daydream all the time, why haven't I shifted?"
Because you perceive it as a daydream and not a actually reality you are living and experiencing.
If you are daydreaming and you are so focused on the fact you are "not there yet" or the fact you wish to be "actually" experiencing that daydream right now is the reason why you didn't shift through the daydreaming.
Shifting doesn't take much, and telling yourself otherwise is sabotaging yourself. Realise your dr is real and take it in. Immerse yourself in your dr and simply be there and don't overthink it.

Q: Do I need a specific method? Absolutely not. Methods are like designer bags—cute, but not necessary. You can use the Julia method, Raven method, whatever the fuck method or just lie there looking pretty and expect it to happen. The real key? Your mindset.
Q: What if I fall asleep before I shift? Then congrats, you got some beauty rest. you just did the easiest "method" ever. If you wake up in your DR, amazing. If you wake up in your CR, just assume the shift worked and let your mind catch up. Either way, you win. Stay unbothered. Shifting doesn’t have a deadline. You’ll get there when you stop pressuring yourself. also you do know sleeping doesn't prevent from shifting right? you do know you can sleep like sleeping beauty & still wake up in your dr RIGHT? you do realize sleep methods exist right? not that you even need methods but if you like them then oh well.
Q: Can I shift to any reality? Baby, you can shift to a castle, a spaceship, or a billionaire’s penthouse if you want. Reality is literally your playground. Get creative.
Q: What if I get stuck in my desired reality? First of all, why are you acting like that’s a bad thing? Second, you won��t. That's literally impossible (unless you script or assume you will get stuck ig), if you're not stuck here then you're not stuck there. Your subconscious knows how to bring you back. You have control, always.
Q: Do I need to meditate for hours? Absolutely not. You think a bad bitch has time for that? You can shift while listening to music, scrolling your phone, or lying in bed looking fabulous. Intent > effort.
Q: Can I shift instantly? Of course. Shifting is just a decision. The moment you stop questioning it and just assume it’s done, you’re already there.
Q: "I’m scared of symptoms. What do I do?" Love, why are you scared of your own power? Those tingles, floating sensations, or vibrations? That’s just your body adjusting to being that girl in a new reality. You’re not dying—you’re elevating. Relax, breathe, and let it happen like the divine goddess you are.
Q: "What if I accidentally script something bad?" Girl, do you think the universe is petty like that? Your subconscious knows what you meant. It’s not gonna punish you for a typo. Focus on what you want, not what you fear.
Q: "What if I shift and forget my current reality?" sighhhh you think shifting wipes your memory like a bad hangover? I mean unless you script you'll forget it then no you won't forget it. You will always have full control. If you want to come back, you will. Relax.
Q: "I keep trying, but nothing’s happening." Trying too hard is the problem. Do you try to blink? Do you try to breathe? No—you just do it. Shifting is the same. Stop making it a struggle. Assume it’s easy, and it will be.
Q: "How do I let go?" Beautiful, why are you clinging onto shifting like a man with commitment issues? Desperation blocks manifestation. Let go like you just dropped an ugly ex—unbothered, thriving, and moving on. Assume it’s already done and go about your day. A bad bitch doesn’t beg for results—she expects them.
Q: "Can I shift if I have doubts?" Doubts are like split ends—cut them off. You don’t need perfect belief, but you do need to stop letting doubt run the show. If you assume shifting works even just a little, that’s enough. Confidence is key.

Q: "What if I get scared mid-shift?" Then, angel, you take a breath and remind yourself who you are. You’re not trapped, you’re shifting, not dying. You are always in control.

Let your thoughts flow, but know where they’re leading. You don’t need to force silence; you just need to focus on what matters.
Q: "What if my subconscious blocks me from shifting?" Your subconscious wants what you want, babe. It’s not your enemy, it’s your servant. If you think it’s blocking you, you’re just giving power to a false belief. Rewrite that story.

Yk how sometimes you’d daydream about your dr, maybe listen to songs or movies that reminds you of your dr, or just talking to them on c.ai or something?
Well I’m so bored of that. I never use c.ai, I never “remind” myself of my Dr, bc it’s js gotten to a point where I don’t need to “remind” or “familiarize” myself w my Dr bc ik I’m there.
You are already there, you just need to become aware of it!

you're making shifting hard



shifting is not hard. you're making it seem that way.
i used to struggle with this so much. like, i knew the law of assumption. i knew that shifting and manifesting were the same thing. i knew that reality is just my assumptions reflected back to me.
but for some reason, every time i tried to just decide i was in my DR, it felt... different.
i could easily say, "i have blue eyes," and it felt normal, even if my eyes were brown. but the second i tried to say, "i'm in my DR," my brain would go: "hmm... but are you really?" and suddenly, i'd be analyzing everything, waiting for proof, wondering if i was doing it right.
and that's where i messed up.
i was placing shifting on a pedestal
i thought shifting was bigger than other manifestations. i thought it was different. but the truth? there is no such thing as a "big" or "small" manifestation. that's literally just a label. it's an assumption.
if i assume it's "harder" to shift than to change my eye color, then guess what? that assumption becomes my reality. but if i assume they're both the same, just decisions, then shifting becomes just as easy as saying, "i have blue eyes."
checking for proof was my biggest block
the second i decided i was in my DR, i'd immediately start checking, even subconsciously.
do i feel different?
did something change?
am i there yet?
and by doing that, i was literally affirming that i wasn't there. because if i truly believed i was in my DR, why would i be checking?
like, when i wake up in the morning, i don't sit there and check if i'm still in my reality. i don't look around thinking, "is this my bed? is this my house?" i just assume it is. and because i assume it, that's what i experience.
that's exactly how shifting works.
deciding = reality
at some point, i realized i was overcomplicating everything. i was acting like shifting was some grand process, when in reality, it's literally just deciding. and once i decide, that's it. i don't need to do anything else.
when i say, "i have blue eyes," i don't sit there waiting for them to change. it just accept it as true.
when i say, "i am already in my DR," i should do the exact same thing. just accept it and move on.
no forcing. no waiting. no "trying." just knowing.
the secret? stop making it a big deal
shifting is not this rare, complicated thing.
it's not "bigger" than any other manifestation. it's not something you have to work toward. it's just a decision. and the only reason it feels different is because you assume it is.
so i stopped treating it like a big deal. i stopped looking for proof. i stopped acting like it was something separate from normal manifesting. and the moment i did that? everything clicked.
so if you're struggling...
stop checking if it's working.
stop waiting for proof and validation.
stop placing shifting on a pedestal.
just decide. accept. move on.
you're already there. that's it. no doubts, no second-guessing. just be.

how to shift:
method 3: lack of awareness
sleep method gang, rise up. i'm serious. these methods involves reducing your awareness of this reality (or any other) to zero, or as close to zero as possible. This is a potentially prime state to trigger a shift. and by sleep method, i don't mean lucid dreams or SATS, or other partially aware states. i mean having a period of complete unawareness, like totally dreamless sleep, and then waking up in your DR.
this is completely different from the state of pure awareness by the way, because in the state of pure awareness you are aware. like, in pure awareness you have a full train of thought and total control. the absence of awareness is the opposite. it feels sort of like a "blip" where reality, time, and space passed you by and you were not aware of it. this absence of awareness during sleep is (in my experience) the most common cause of accidental or unintentional shifts, but you might be one of those who can trigger a shift to desired realities with this too.
sleeping is not the only way to get to the state of the lack of awareness. i'll cover a sleep method below, and a few other methods with tips and tools for how you might be able to use the state of lack of awareness to trigger a shift.
method 3(a):
sleep method
now, there are lots of sleep methods out there, some with complex routines and rituals, and some as simple as "go to sleep and hope to wake up in your DR." the sleep method here will be shimmer's sleep method, ie, if i want to use sleep as a shifting method, this is what i do! feel free to tweak or adjust the steps to suit yourself. i think of my method a lot like setting up dominoes, and then knocking the first one down right before i fall asleep. if all goes well, the dominoes will fall just so to trigger a shift to my DR while im totally asleep, and i'll simply wake up there.
step one: repetition
throughout the day, i want you to think about two things, a dozen times. 1) shifting, and 2) your DR. now, you probably already do this. you're a shifter, you're on shiftblr, you probably already think about shifting and your DR daily, so maybe try to change up the way you do it to increase the chances your brain is triggered to process that in your sleep. this step is also not necessarily about imagining shifting or daydreaming about your DR, though you can do that if you want to. it's about deliberately thinking about shifting, and your DR, at regular intervals. you don't need to do it constantly, but i'd recommend around a dozen times. this number is often recommended to those hoping to trigger a lucid dream, and the concept is the same: the more regularly you think about something while awake, the more likely you'll think about it while asleep too, as your brain processes those memories and thoughts while you sleep.
step two: saturation
do your usual bedtime routine, whatever it is. now, before you go to sleep, i want you to saturate your awareness (which is currently in your CR) with your DR. do this however you want, i do it in different ways each time, it's really best to pick something that feels natural to you. if it feels like homework or boring or stress, you're naturally averse to that, so pick a way you like. scroll your pinterest board, review your script, rewatch your show, imagine your DR, etc etc. the goal here is just to get your CR brain, and your awareness, to soak up thoughts and visuals and words about your DR.
step three: visualize
now you're laying in bed, about to go to sleep. i want you to create a short visualization sequence (remember, visualization does not just mean actually seeing images with your mind. think about it, pick other senses to visualize, monologue it in your mind, tell yourself about it, imagine it.) so, anyway, visualize yourself falling asleep in your CR, and then waking up in your DR. it should be a fairly short sequence, like you're visualizing about 10-30 seconds of time passing. think about how it feels to fall sleep here, and then how it feels to wake up there. pick one or two things about each moment to focus on. once you have this short sequence, repeat it about a dozen times. repeating this single, short sequence is key.
step four: domino
you decide what your domino is. as you're going to sleep, do something to trigger that "domino effect", and remember your goal is to fall asleep in your CR. so don't pick something that keeps you up. maybe get into a light meditative state (that's my preference,) maybe you like to repeat a mantra, maybe you want to get into hypnogogia for awhile, maybe you're a sleep paralysis enjoyer (i fear you, tbh). maybe you just roll over and fall asleep. whatever it is, remember your goal is to fall asleep, not to shift from that state, so don't stress yourself out or keep yourself up. everything you've done so far has been to prime your brain to trigger a shift during sleep, while you're not aware, so don't lay there waiting for the shift to happen or for signs of a shift. don't strain or agitate. the point is to not be aware of the shift when it happens!
step five: wake up in your DR.
if it didn't work, try again, or try a different method!
method 3(b):
meditation: "blipping out"
now, most of the time i see people talking about "blips" or "blinking out" or losing awareness or time when meditating, they see this as a mistake or mishap because it's happening while they are trying to get into a different meditative state, like pure awareness or focus 10 or something else. this method is ideal for anyone who this happens to, and it's a way you can use it instead of trying to work against it.
step one: visualize
before you meditate, i want you to create a short visualization sequence (remember, visualization does not just mean actually seeing images with your mind. think about it, pick other senses to visualize, monologue it in your mind, tell yourself about it, imagine it.) so, anyway, visualize yourself "blipping out" while meditating. how does it usually feel to come back to awareness? visualize that "coming back" moment happening as your DR self in your DR, instead of here. visualize "blipping out" here, and coming to awareness there. it should be a fairly short sequence, like you're visualizing about 10-30 seconds of time passing. pick one or two things about each moment to focus on. once you have this short sequence, repeat it about a dozen times. repeating this single, short sequence is key.
step two: blip out
whatever meditation or method you've used in the past that cause you to experience a "blip" in awareness, use that again. if it's never happened, try a few different ones until you find one that works for you. the last step was about priming your awareness to come "back" to your DR, so hopefully you do!
method 3(c):
severance method
the name is tongue-in-cheek, this could just as easily be called the adhd method, the trigger method, etc etc. this method doesn't require any meditation, or reaching a different state of awareness. the goal of this method is to hopefully catch your CR brain unawares, and trigger you (awareness) to shift when you (CR self) has forgotten to resist. if this method works for you, then you will shift while totally awake, and doing something entirely mundane in your CR, and potentially when you've forgotten entirely that it was even supposed to make you shift.
i think the severance show is a good way to humorously exemplify the goal of this method: to set a specific "trigger" (place, action, etc) to signal your awareness to shift. if you haven't seen it, in the show the characters awareness is triggered to switch to another identity when they descend or ascend the elevator into work. you can pick anything as your trigger, but personally i recommend picking something you do several times a day, up to a dozen times per day. you could pink something you do all the time, like blinking, but i think that could be strenuous to commit to or you'd end up forgetting to actually do the method each time.
step one: pick your "trigger"
this could be anything, but i'll list a few recommendations: every time you plug your phone in to charge, ever time you open the bathroom door, every time you sit down, every time you go up a set of stairs, every time you turn a light off, etc, etc. pick one that works for you.
step two: repetitive visualization
now, pick a time period. it could be a day, i'd recommend several days or a week. every single time you're about to do your trigger (ie, before you sit down, before you flip the light switch, etc) visualize yourself doing the trigger, and then becoming aware in your DR. create a short visualization sequence (remember, visualization does not just mean actually seeing images with your mind. think about it, pick other senses to visualize, monologue it in your mind, tell yourself about it, imagine it.) like you're visualizing about 10-30 seconds of time passing. pick one or two things about each moment to focus on. repeat it right before every time you do your trigger action.
step three: stop
now, hypothetically there's the chance you get triggered to shift just from step 2, but you don't necessarily go into it expecting that. as this is a lack of awareness method, the goal is to prime your brain and awareness, and then stop. after you pass your time window you set before (a day, a week, whatever) you don't have to visualize every time before you do your trigger action. hopefully, when you're not thinking about it, your awareness will be triggered to shift out of habit. if after a few days, a week, or whatever time period feels right to you you're never triggered to shift, then either try again, or try a different method!
troubleshooting:
similar methods: as you'll likely notice, the above methods have a lot of similarities. honestly, most shifting methods are very similar, and they are often quite similar to lucid dream methods, which are often quite similar to study methods, which are often quite similar to- you get the picture. the point is, the things we can do to trigger our brains to remember and do something we're not consciously fully aware of are often quite similar.

LET’S GO BACK TO THE BASICS
inducing pure consciousness and shifting
there is no need to complicate these things, i’ve seen too many people trying to make shifting and the void state some extraordinary thing when it has been done for centuries and naturally at that.
all you need to induce pure consciousness is The “I AM” meditation / Or “SO HUM” (I am in Sanskrit)
Deep breathing while affirming “I Am”
Imagine yourself as faceless and formless
Let yourself go, don’t force the let go take this time to realise that you are everything,everything is in you, and that all these realities are of the same magnitude and same closeness to you
When you realise how deep in you are, set an intention to induce the void state/pure consciousness
Then go back into Affirming.
I use this time to distract myself or trick my mind into believing that i am already in the void state.
With the SO HUM meditation it is really the same thing but mainly focusing on your breath and repeating that mantra until you find yourself in the void state.
I recommend this, this and this video as the way the void state is spoken about is so natural and not as if their lives are depending on it, this energy is so cleansing to be around, and will really help you feel how natural this all is.

Remember there is no such thing as failure. Your inner man (the real you) has shifted as soon as you set the intention. You can do this at ANYTIME, not “tonight” or “tomorrow night” why are you limiting yourself to whether it’s dark outside or not?
Also Remember that other people’s discouraging attitude will not take away from your power. There are so many people on this app who complain about shifting and the “I Am” state being hard and how they “just can’t do it”, even going as far as to accuse bloggers of lying. It can seem so confusing to have so many people whine about how it’s “so hard” but do not allow yourself to engage.
If you just had a baby, would you listen to the people with fertility issues saying that having a baby “just seems impossible” when your baby is right beside you? Would you let their personal discouragement put a damper on you and allow you to assume that maybe it isn’t all that possible to have a baby, when it is right there? Don’t let miserable people who have put this on a pedestal shake you when your desires are right infront of you. This is real, it’s not hard, block out all the complainers, this is real and you can do it.
It seems to good to be true, especially for people who want to server ties with this reality as it can feel unreal how you can leave whenever you want, but just remember this reality, your dream reality and even the ones you’ve never heard of are in the same proximity to you, you aren’t stuck here. All realities are just as close. They are of the same relationship to you.
You have all the ingredients, why are you overcomplicating? Remember what this is. Just a measly meditation. It’s not too good to be true because you are deserving of it. Don’t manipulate yourself into believing that the void state is doing YOU a favour. You are deserving and more than capable of having an entirely new life.
TAKE WHAT YOU KNOW AND DON’T OVERCOMPLICATE THINGS.
