but also on a more serious note i hate how easily we gloss over the fact how many of the “greats” were sexist and racist (and i’m sure most/everything else -ist and -phobic that’s bad but these two are the most prominent/mentioned).

like recently in my college class we were doing aristotle, and our professor specifically had the question of like “should what aristotle taught us be disregarded having in mind his views on women and black people?” and then the whitest straightest man to ever man answered the question with “well i think he was too important to just ignore just because of some bad opinions” and it’s like dude no he owned slaves and thought women were too dumb to be involved in politics (i think he said something like women don’t have the brain for it? something about women’s brains and inability to do politics i don’t remember), and someone also said “the times were different back then” like sure yeah it was more normal for slavery to exist and for men to think women were stupid, but that doesn’t fucking excuse it?? if he was so goddamn smart then why did his intelligence stop at women and black people? i hate the argument of different times so fucking much- such a disgusting excuse, and it says a lot about the people saying it too :/ like why are you so easily accepting of inhumane behaviour

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i dont think cattle would do very good at guarding things woops ! theyre prey animals and they dont really have like.. guarding instincts like a dawggy does!

although fun fact.. did you know that donkeys are sometimes used as livestock guardian animals to protect sheep and cows!

i looovveeeeeeeeee guardian animals i think its so funny. donkeys are used for bigger livestock but for chickens and ducks .. people use geese!!!!! its so funny like. let me get one animal thats kinda like you but kills for fun. hes your dad now.

Sims In Bloom: A Sims 4 Legacy Challenge ☆ﾟ*･｡*･

Please let me know if you find any problems with the challenge (I’m currently play testing it myself) or if you find a part that is too similar to yours/someone else’s (I’m aware there are quite a few flower based challenges out there but I tried to make mine as unique as possible).

General rules

For each generation complete the designated aspiration, career, and skills.

Asterisk * marked points are optional, you can choose to complete these to make the challenge more difficult.

There are two colours associated with every generation. Use these for genetics (berry/banilla), or just clothes and house decor if you wish.

Start each new generation with a small house/apartment and 1000 simoloeons. If you want to make the challenge harder, you can start each generation on an empty lot with 0 simoleons (rags to riches style!)

Play on any lifespan you wish (short is not recommended).

Gardening has always been your passion. Owning a large, healthy garden is all you’ve ever wanted in life, even if your nails constantly have soil under them and you have so many broken pots you’ve lost count. Your happy place is meditating in the shade of the fruit trees that you grew yourself from tiny saplings. You sit and wonder what your family will grow to do, and hope that they will flourish just as beautifully as your garden has. This is the start of your family legacy!

Aspiration: Freelance botanist

Traits: Cheerful, clumsy, loves outdoors

Career: Gardening

Skills: Gardening, fishing, wellness

Live on a lot with the lot challenge ‘Simple living’

Grow a cowplant and keep it alive for as long as you live (if it dies, immediately plant a new one)

ACLC: Animal Crossing Legacy Challenge!

Are you ready to move to a new town with nothing but a tent and start your new life?  Then this is the challenge for you! An Animal Crossing Legacy challenge with 8 generations based on the different villager types! 

► Global Rules

Start with a young adult sim with the life span set to normal (You can base them on Animal Crossing Characters!)

Move into a desired empty lot in preferably an island themed town, i.e Sunlit Tides, Islo Paradiso. Give your sim a tent and set funds to $0

Complete all the LTWs and goals that are set for the generation and are based on the villager type characteristics!

Build your house by paying off your loans to Tom Nook.

How you handle romance, kids and choosing an heir is up to you!

Not all the needed traits are available as kids so I recommend using cheats to give your heir the needed traits upon aging to YA.

Welcome to bestiejermaine’s Boba Tea Legacy Challenge!! This is an original 9 generation challenge made by me (mari) and here are the rules.

Basic Rules:

Not base game compatible

Cheating is allowed (money, bb.moveobjects, ect) but not recommended

Normal and long lifespan is recommended for this (short for an extra challenge)

Grow into a liking of cooking and baking 

Join the Doctor career and reach level 5

Have a child with a one night stand

Live in Sulani (cause you’re a rich doctor lol)

Complete the ‘beach life’ aspiration

Generation Three: Strawberry Boba [uses City Living]

What rich parents you have. All of this relaxation has left you wanting to do something for yourself. You want to make your rich life known to the world and “help” them achieve the same goal. You’re really just a showoff.

Have 2 kids (preferably twins)

Go into the social media career and reach level 5

Marry someone who you’ve just met

Have the romantic trait

Complete the postcards collection

Generation Four: Taro Boba [uses Get Together, Get Famous, and Cats and Dogs]

Your mother/father has made you a spoiled rat. You spend your days making sure everyone in the world knows your name and every footstep you make. Let’s be glad you have a good enough reputation.

Complete the ‘leader of the pack’ aspiration

Adopt one child (have 2 kids in total)

Have a pet cat

Start a club (can be about anything)

Max out the charisma skill

Have the self absorbed trait

Generation Five: Coffee Boba [uses Country Living]

Back to your roots they say. You spend your time farming and living healthy. You don’t care too much about the limelight and want to spend your time making sure your own family knows where you come from.

Make all organic foods made from your garden

Thanks for the life mom/dad! If only they understood that I don’t really like physical touch and that I wished to be alone. Nobody will ever understand me.. NOT EVEN MY OWN KID!

The Sour Legacy Challenge

Did I make a legacy challenge based on Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour? Yes, I did.

The overall guidelines are pretty loose here. Obviously there’s a lot to accomplish each generation, but I tried to make it so there is plenty of room for freedom too. And if you’re not feeling an aspiration or have a career you’ve been meaning to try - go ahead and switch it up if you think it makes sense! Just try to pick something that isn’t already in the challenge.

Go as wild as you desire with mods and lifespans and the like. Feel free to make this your own (just don’t repost this as your own, yah feel?).
