Author made so many comments that never went through a filter that he honestly wasn’t surprised when he realized what he had said. He’d been spacing out after letting the android wander around his home, and as soon as he saw him again that was the first thing that came to mind. So he said it.

Author stared at Oliver blankly, waiting for a reaction more than anything at this point, just to see if he’d be able to tease the android more, or to see if he just “embarrassed” himself.

Alvery’s been intending to do this for maybe a month now, maybe longer maybe shorter, but he hasn’t been able to find a right time to really say anything. Well, there was a few times but he ended up choking on his words and lose his typical confidence very quickly. Now though, despite them just walking around in the forest surrounding his house, he felt he should finally do it. Maybe.

He had the ring, he knew what he would say, and they were in one of the prettiest glades in the forest so honestly this moment was perfect, but he was choking on his words again. Nothing would come out. Alvery did stutter a few times, and that was what caught Aidans attention. Except he ended up stuttering more. And more. Just until Aidan finally lost his patience and told him to ‘Spit it out!’

With the box clenched in his hand, he very quickly said, “M-Marry me, please–?” He raised the box and opened it hurriedly, face flushed a bright red. If he wasn’t so stiff, he probably would’ve fallen over from his embarrassment. This proposal was supposed to go a little more smoothly than this, but at least the question was finally asked.
