Sins cause a great loneliness in the heart, so the sinner feels alone, away from his Lord, from people and even from his own soul!

And the more his sins increase, the more his loneliness increases!

Oh Lord, bless me with the bliss of infinite patience; teach me how to stop getting my heart attached to people but instead to my prayers.

Journal entries: Daydreaming

Through the hazy mist, I picture the city disappearing behind us.The rare view mirror shows only the fields of lavander and oak trees. Your lips often fleeting to a smirk as I chatter away and share my never ending stories. You listen, chime in for a while but still listen, regardless. The faint radio that’s playing isn’t enough to suppress our moments of breathlessness; gasping for air through the husky chuckles and giggles. Reflections of the sunset sparkle in your sunglassess; I am left mesmerised like always. My feet on your lap, one of your hands on the steering wheel, the other on top of mine. At this moment, neither of us are aware of our destination but we don’t care. I don’t care. The simplicity of enjoying each other’s company is enough for the both of us. AND mainly since, you don’t cease to exist and are only prevalent in fragments of my imagination. Here’s to, slowly drifting into deep sleep in science class.

Sweetheart, you hand so many pieces of your soul to strangers wishing they will accept it. Yet such divine feminine energy is drained from your system. Thus, you are lest, with the mere numb feeling of nothingness. Perhaps your excessive givingness is what makes you feel so empty.

journal entries: feeling anxious

don’t be so harsh on yourself, you’re still breathing, growing and learning.

don’t ever thing that your existence is pointless, everyday is a new chapter for self care and healing.

don’t compare yourself to others, life is not a competition worth racing.

Instead, wrap yourself up in the warms of positivity. You are more than enough, so have more faith in yourself.

Happiness is never stable so aim for contentment. Be grateful for all that you’ve got and all that’s you’ve been blessed with.

Remember your past doesn’t dictate your present so treasure every single moment.

When Meeting another Muslim:

أعوذ بالله من حزنٍ يأكل القلب بصمت

I seek refuge in Allah from a sadness that silently consumes the heart.

‎وَأَنْ لَيْسَ لِلْإِنْسَانِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَىٰ

Dua when seeing another Muslim Happy:

أَضْحَكَ اللَّهُ سِنَّكَ

May Allah, keep you laughing forever (happy) - Sunan Abu Dawud // Simplicity.ig 💯

When one sees a muslim laughing, say:

أضحك الله سنك 

‘‘May Allah keep you laughing’‘ (Bukhari, Muslim)

نَحْنُ خَلَقْنَاكُمْ فَلَوْلَا تُصَدِّقُونَ

We have created you, so why do you not believe? (56:57)

وَٱلْعَصْرِ

By time,

إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لَفِى خُسْرٍ

Indeed, mankind is in loss,

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِٱلصَّبْرِ

Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.

الا بذكر الله ‏تطمئن القلوب

Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest. ( 13:28 )

رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ

My Lord! Truly, I am in need of whatever good that You bestow on me! (28:24)

إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَإِذَا تُلِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُهُ زَادَتْهُمْ إِيمَانًا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ

The believers are only those who, when Allāh is mentioned, their hearts become fearful, and when His verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith; and upon their Lord they rely - (8:20)
