Blog post 13 PROMOTION
Disney channel is involved in the major social media accounts such as YouTube, Pinterest, twitter, facebook, and even vine. The brand uses tactics such as brining on live streams of famous people that are know in the network.  As well as radio programming and tv programing, the network is great in advertisements using billboards and social media streaming. I don't think the network needs any personal selling, it does a very well job getting to different audiences with social media or tv programming. I believe their advertisements tactics are effective, they reach their audiences and create sales and ratings.

Disney channel is a exclusive brand that is a intensive distribution network, they bring the network through cable programming. Such as spectrum, it's a service retailer that have their own specialty store where they only sale cable,phone, and internet programming. Disney's channel is a omnichannel were their services are also offered online to get to as much audiences as possible. Retailers  that's sale cable programming mostly offered Disney's channel as a given option, they know how successful the channel is and parent typically get the program for their little ones in their young ages. It is a well known network that is continuing to expand.

Disney channel is a strong network with variety and customer loyalty, I believe the only threat the network can come upon is that they neglect to show more of their original cartoons. In the past we were able to see Winnie's the Pooh or steam boat willie shorts. They forget to show their classics and a lot of people do actually like the classic they loose audiences forgetting how the network actually started. I believe the Walt Disney Company should be able to offer a separate channel and be more customer orientated to those audiences that are wanting more cartoons. Nick has a great reputation on their cartoons such as Cat Dog, spongebob squarepants, or Hey Arnold. These were tv shows offered during the afternoon, were as Disney channel only offers live sitcomes. Disney channel has the ability to be able to bring them back and if they do, their audiences would give them more ratings. Price wise the tv network is offered on cable television ranging from 25-45$ dollars a month, the network is consider a premium pricing offering different channels for all kinds of audiences. They also carry on demand tv networks with that do show original movies were the networks uses price skimming to get more sales and ratings. The tv programmer that offer Disney's channel are involved in a price war,  trying to keep their viewers, prices have decline tremendously in order to keep and acquire customers.

Disney channel is television network offered in cable programming, it offers different channels which are then following
Disney channel: original tv series of situational scenarios of teenagers as well as movies and cartoons.
Disney XD:targeted to 7-14 yr olds bringing action and sitcom.
Disney Junior : targeting pre schoolers teaching them numbers and words.
Disney channel on demand : brining original disney channel movies on demand to viewers.
These are all channels that are offered on the cable programing,
As well as online disney channel offers customer Way to watch their favorite tv programs online, including games and live stream of the network.

Blog Post 9 Brand
Disney channel has grown since the 1990′s, from offering original cartoons of steam boat Willie to bringing real life situational tv series to the network. It has successfully becomed a strong network. The network has great perceived value, giving their customers tv networks when they want it at a great affordable price. Disney channel is a singular breadth but with a great assortment of depth, channels that consist of the original Disney channel to Disney xd, the network definitely has selection for every type of age group. Targeting little ones to learn how to count or say words with their pal Mickey, it is not brainier parents give the brand brand loyalty.  Not to mention the famous  people the network decides to hire, kids and teenagers are more wanting to give the network ratings. For example Disney's used Demi Lavato and Nick Jonas in their musical movie Camp Rock. These two definitely have grown from being in a musical to a big singer in the music industry. The network has become a unstoppable force, around the world in different languages, the network has great brand awareness, as well as owning operating theme parks around the world, the Walt Disney's company has a great future ahead.

POST 7: PACKGING

The word Disney is the main factor that the network is so popular, consumers know that anything to do with Disney they should watch. From experiences in radio stations, theme parks, and or blogs consumers expect to find he best services then any other brand. I believe if that if the Disney Channel network wants to have more audiences they should bring back more cartoons, using the original characters. I grew up watching this channel and i always looked forward to watching the short films of steam boat willie or Winnie the Pooh adventures. I love the fact that they are showing programs that relate to real life situations,but the network should not lose what it was all started from a cartoon.

Disney channel has three main network competition; Cartoon Network, The hub, and Nick. These networks targets the same audience and ages. Due to the fact that Disney Channel uses its resources such as celebrities and Disney characters the network has value and a great customer excellence, is one of the leading networks in the market for kids and teenagers. In 2016 Walt Disney was considered one of the most valuable brand in the world, with brand value reaching 31 billion. Ranked as the most second reputable company in the world  right behind Swiss company Rolex. The Walt Disney company is a strong network that brings in about 44% of total global revenue, owning tv networks such as History, Lifetime, and A & E are just a few. It continues to expand and bring different products to experience the magic.

Disney channel targets children, teens and adults. The network demographics include;
Age:
Disney junior : Pre-School age - Elementary Age
Disney XD, Disney Channel/Hd Demand: Teenagers ages 7-14 years old 
Gender:
Typically targets teenage girls 7-14, and young boys and girls in pre-school and elementary 
Race: 
Aims to any race, it involves sit comes and original movies of different races and ages. 
Income:
The network is only shown in cable programing, and is affordable for any family wanting to watch the network.
The psychographics of the network focus on teenagers who are growing up and learning day to day lessons. The network uses social media, blogs, advertisement, and radio stations to attract new audiences and expand their dominance. Disney channel is a leading network who aspires to bring family and different cultures, so audiences will learn about lifestyles around the world.

POST 4: SWOT
STRENGTHS:
-The Price of the Network is low to make it affordable for any family.
-Uses celebrities/ Disney characters to attract customers. 
-Has diversity for all members of the family.
-Its a Business to Business type of business. 
-Good value to the channel.
 WEAKNESS:
-Targets to bring family together, the use more live actions shows and not a lot of original character, and end up loosing audience.
-Only able to watch the network through cable programing. 
OPPORTUNITIES:
-Positions itself to be the top children/teen network.
-International network 
THREATS:
-Nick, Cartoon Network, and the hub use similar targeting audience. 
I believe the best opportunity it can pursue is to continue to expand around the world. As well as bringing cartoons back. A lot of the audience in the past have lost the interest in watching the network due to the fact that the channel shows less and less.

Blog Post 3: Strategy Disney channel focused in showing cartoons for the little ones when the network premiered. Now their market strategy aims to celebrate family, bringing live action sit comes and movies that view real life situations. I believe that their sustainable competitive advantage over any other brand is that they bring celebrities that are popular with kids and teenagers, bringing more attention to the network. Such as Selena Gomez in Wizards of Waverly place, or Demi Lavato in Camp rock. As well as for the little ones, using Mickey Mouse or other Disney original characters, the network earn value and a great customer excellence. Disney Channel offers is services only on cable programming, price ranges different from every company,, but affordable for any family. However it has great operational excellence bringing diversity of sister channels to accommodate all the family members. Such as Disney XD, that aims for boys and girls 6-14, or Disney Junior that aims for the pre-school age children.The network has a good product excellence by giving their consumers programs they choose to watch when they want it.Being a leader in promoting their brand, they use radio stations, advertisements, and magazines.

Disney channel launched in 1983, originally called “The Disney Channel” is a public cable and satellite television network owened by The Walt Disney Company.  Aimed at children/ teenagers ages 9-16 years old,the network specialized  in programming for children consisting in original children's television series and movies.(Disney Channel. A premium service that was offered to customers, from doing 16 hour day long shows for the children, later adding 2 more hours and adding a night schedule for the adults. The network has made changes through out the years, from focusing in animated series to live sitcoms. Disney channel has now reached over 93.6 million pay television house holds, with sister networks such Disney XD and Disney junior. 
Disney channel is located in Burbank, California, its a business to business type of company. With yet another record breaking annual rate in 2015, Disney channel  finished with a 35% increase in their broadcast television department, Collecting 240$ million in revenue.( Barnes, B.
