West Bengal HS Council Board Results 2025 Declared
The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) declared the Class 12 (Higher Secondary) Examination results for 2025 on May 7, 2025, at 12:30 PM, through a press conference. The results were made accessible online to students from 2:00 PM onwards.
Key Highlights of WBCHSE HS Results 2025:
* Overall Pass Percentage: The overall pass percentage for the 2025 Higher Secondary examinations stood at 90.79%.
* Total Students: Out of approximately 4,73,919 students who appeared for the exams, 4,30,286 successfully passed.
* Gender-wise Pass Percentage:
* Boys: 92.38%
* Girls: 88.18%
* Stream-wise Pass Percentage:
* Science: 99.46%
* Commerce: 97.52%
* Arts: 88.25%
* Top Performing Districts:
* Purba Medinipur: 95.74%
* North 24 Parganas: 93.53%
* Kolkata: 93.43%
* Toppers: Rupayan Pal from Burdwan CMS High School secured the top position with 497 out of 500 marks (99.4%). Several other students also made it to the top 10 merit list.
* Examination Dates: The Higher Secondary examinations were conducted from March 3 to March 18, 2025.
* Provisional Marksheets: The online results are provisional. Original marksheets and certificates were made available to schools for distribution to students from May 8, 2025, at 10 AM.

Important Note: This was the last Higher Secondary examination conducted under the annual system. From 2026 onwards, WBCHSE will adopt a semester-based examination format
