About a week ago I posted this.

I’ve been getting horrible messages like this in my ask for months, including:

After getting the message saying “Just go kill yourself” I was completely done dealing with this person’s horrible messages and replied with just an “Okay.” and logged off tumblr.

About a week later I logged back on with 17 messages in my ask, most of them from the anon. I scrolled down and at first when I logged off, the anon messaged me things like

This was extremely surprising to me. I thought “After all those horrible messages you sent to me for MONTHS about hating me and wanting me dead, you say ‘sorry’ and that you ‘cant be responsible for someone’s suicide’?”

So I went to an art conference at my school. We discussed things there, like how colors can be very powerful and our subconscious picks up the subtlest of hints. Pixar’s UP was a very unforgettable example. The colors of UP had a lot to do with why we cried. You all know what I’m talking about, right??

We were told that her color was pink. That’s why her hospital room had pinkish hue.

And the next scene had strong pink hues. He misses her. I think it’s got strong colors because of her personality.

Also, It’s like her presence is still lingering.

When he got home, only a small part of the frame (window on the right) has a pink hue as the sun is setting. By now, we know her presence is drifting away.

Mr. Fredricksen walks up the porch and goes into his house.

And when he shuts the door, the final frame looks like this:

The entire frame is desaturated and cold because the warmth in Mr. Fredrickson’s life is gone.

And that’s another reason why this masterpiece is heart-wrenching. And that’s how powerful colors are in films.

No.... I've no other reason aside from I forgot HOW to say it in english. I know this sounds like an excuse, but I currently live in Shanghai, and my bffs are all Japanese; and due to my tight sched, I haven't watch any tv shows/movies ( I usually watch eng tv series).

Long story short, I only use Chinese n Japanese for the last few months (aside from my sporadical appearance on exr group chat), that's why my eng becomes worse. It got to the point where i had to use t/n for the proofreader to explain what i meant, bc i perfectly understand what it means in jap but forgot how to say it in english. I feel sorry for my proofreader bc of my bad eng, but I can assure you there's no mistranslation. My Japanese is good enough that other Japanese people thought that I was a Japanese, until they asked me which city do I come from and I told them that I'm not a Japanese.

Hi! In the last Kachou chapter on page 05_93 one of the guys says "Otsukare-sama". Is Kiriya's name really Otsukare? I've read that "otsukaresama" is something like "you've worked hard" or "good job". I'm kinda lost now. And thank you for the chapter, waiting for the next is going to be a torture, lol. Good thing you picked it up and we no longer have to wait a few years for a single chap <3

He literally says お疲れ様っす。Which is Otsukaresamassu and in English is “Thank you for your hard work.”

A lot of businesses in Japan say this to their employees if they are sent off to do a task. So Niwa is thanking Kiraya for doing whatever it was that he did before entering that room. I don’t actually know why Yuanyulin left it in Japanese rather than “Good work.”

If you guys have followed me long enough, you must've known that a while ago, I posted that I got accepted for music scholarship in China. Well, I'm going there in another 18 hours. The thing is, you know how China blocks all social medias (Google, Google drive, Facebook, Youtube, Line, etc.)? I already installed VPN, but since we're talking about China (that imo, internet kekkai master), I have no guarantee whether i can do some translation for Legendary Master's Wife a.k.a momo and i might not be able to translate Kachou for a while until i settle down.

For now, I've done Kachou Fuugetsu translation up until chapter 26 (which is a month's worth), and @rara0587 will replace me to translate momo in the meantime, so you shouldn't be worried. BUT just in case something happened and I might not be able to translate Kachou (or go MIA from tumblr), well, you know why.
