the umbrellas are a san francisco-based band composed of morgan stanley (guitar/vocals), matt ferrara (guitar/vocals), nick oka (bass), and keith frerichs (drummer), whose sound incorporates elements of indie and diy pop. they released their latest album ‘fairweather friend’ in january and are about to go on a world tour next month.

we talked to them about their new record, the SF music scene, and their international tour bucket list!
