psa: canon characters / general rp hiatus.

hi everyone. i created yami yugi, remade rufus, and made an appearance on my spectre blog because i thought that by rekindling blogs for beloved characters of mine, i could somehow motivate myself through this vicious depression to do something productive other than stay in bed and neglect everything. alas, that motivation was short-lived, and i absolutely cannot find it in me especially now i am dealing with a new & bigger & life changing issue.

this isn’t for sympathy. in fact, i’d prefer no replies, no messages. i’m finding it hard to communicate with anybody at all. the extent of the severity in my situation is being...somewhat handled irl, but i digress, that is my problem to deal with. i am even moving back home as i cannot cope with handling myself alone anymore. 

anyway, long story short i had considered leaving rp altogether. however, i decided i would instead just work on my two oc’s at my own pace. i will link their urls another time. so what happens now? i will be putting these blogs on hiatus. maybe one day i will regain all i’ve lost and maybe i will be able to share what’s happening with me right now.

i must prioritise what’s going on in my life at the moment however. and the only thing i can muster the energy to take part in these days is play the dark souls series. i need to get lost in gaming.

i’m so sorry for not having the ability to write like i used to. and i’m sorry for not being the person i used to be. 

i will be back to link my personal & oc blogs another time but consider the blogs i am spreading this across to be void. i will not be answering messages or im’s. 

i’m sorry for the inconvenience. i didn’t expect this, and i honestly planned on making a comeback. you will have a place to find me eventually; as i said i will still have my oc and personal blogs, but in general, i need to distance myself from tumblr and social media.

Atem said nothing but he edged closer and gave his twin a soft peck on the lips. “My hero~” 

He chuckled before looking down at the dead insect and making a face, “Ugh… I was about to prepare some pasta but I think my appetite has disappeared.” 

Well who was he kidding anyway? It wasn´t like he could cook, but he figured he could follow Yugi´s recipe book and make something nice. 

The pot started bubbling and the pharaoh had to quickly run to turn off the stove and sigh. “Well this was disastrous… how about pizza and a movie instead? My treat!” 

❛ It was nothing, ❜    he readily accepts Atem’s thanks without looking too flustered  ( giving it his best to polish that stoic disposition,  ever present )  over the ordeal.   Protecting those he cares for is when he’s in his element ------ even incidents as mundane as this.    The payoff is always sweet.     ❛ Are .  .  . you sure? ❜    On second thought.     While the pot spat and overspilled there remains cockroach entrails on the floor,  amongst other messes.    That just might be a good idea.

❛ I guess if you’re paying I can’t say no —— ❜    His glance-of-a-smile is paired with a playful nudge.    Whether it was Yugi’s adolescence or Atem’s way of making him feel so at ease,  it didn’t matter,  either way he feels tethered to some place he could belong.    Like there is innocence or normalcy or both still residing in his spirit.     ❛ It’s a date,  then. ❜
