basically lizzo, sza, and four dudes in BTS (jungkook, taehyung, jimin, and hobi) were all hanging out together at harry styles' concert in LA last night. BTS and lizzo posted selfies together on their respective social medias and sza was like "hey i was also there" and then tweeted this:

anyways people replied to her tweet with a bunch of videos people took of them meeting at the concert (they were out in the open, in the front row of the balcony) and taehyung literally hugged her and they all greeted her and everything seemed fine, plus BTS are known for being willing to take pictures with Literally anybody + are known for being extremely polite — so then sza deleted that and tweeted this stuff (note: none of the members at the concert last night speak english):

and it all just seems like the fans on all sides are really blowing this out of proportion because none of the people involved are offended, like sza herself is insisting those boys were nice so like. who cares

BUT: a bunch of sza fans made a twitter space where they were like "BTS are such assholes, they treated her so badly" (even though she keeps saying they're nice like ten times now, including in her original tweet) and specifically the part that made all this even worse was that the sza fans were extremely racist to BTS in this space, like calling BTS racial slurs and going through every possible racist insult for asians you can think of, and this space got a lot of attention

meanwhile, BTS stans are saying that sza's original "they didn't care" tweet was bad, so it's inspiring stuff like this (mygsfiIe is black, so don't worry about their aave):
