Thinking about how often Ros' trauma is used as justification for her bullying Lukey and how that's reinforced by otherwise pretty smart and understanding people.

I just think of how Pili and Aimsey have both brushed off Ros' treatment of Lukey with "you don't understand, she's traumatized, she's been through a lot, she's allowed to be uncomfortable." And yeah, sure, she is. She's allowed to hate Lukey even, from a distance, and Lukey fully accepted that. The problem is when her "being uncomfortable" crosses into active malice and murder and turning half the server against him and giving Sneeg the go-ahead to try and kill him.

Ros herself often shoots down Lukey's arguments that she's being unfair and unkind with "you don't understand, so many worse things have happened" and "i've been through worse" and "i've been hurt." I feel like someone needs to sit down with her and have a chat about the cycle of abuse and how being hurt doesn't just give you the right to hurt other people however you want.

Bullying Lukey for hearing him in The Null is equivalent to bulling Pili 2 for something Pili 1 did- he has no memory and no connection to the event, and he's a totally blank slate since entering the realm for the first time. But for some reason it's okay to treat Lukey as lesser, as a second-class citizen, as someone who has to fight for basic respect that everyone else just gets inherently, because people have been hurt, so it's okay to be cruel in return. Apparently.

the dynamic between two people who love a third person so much and come to understand each other because of that is so important to me. you would put them first, and so would i. you understand why we have to save them from themself. i trust you with their life, and so, that means more than if i trusted you with mine. the love doesn't have to be the same, but it's powerful enough that you understand why you're not the only satellite drawn into their orbit.

"Mydei is fan service too!" Damn right he is. The difference is that Mydei's entire 'fan service' thing isn't just all about showing off his body for the audience, his entire character is actually enjoyable, nicely written, and he does not exist SOLELY for fan service like some characters unfortunately do. The fact that this man also has badass cutscenes, backstory and personality with nice depth, cooks for the Chyrsos Heirs and play house with children, enjoys the pink in his pomegranate juice after he adds milk into it, advertised his favorite pancake, etc. if you think about it, those are all fan service ― they make the audience love him a ton lot. THESE are what makes Mydei's fan service different from the typical fan service you'd get MOSTLY from female characters. They do not objectify Mydei and water him down to a pleasure meant to be gawked at by the audience. You do not see him manspread and show his damn balls off EVERY MILLISECOND of the frame he's in, an unfortunate case for most female characters that have fan service in them ― their boobs and ass are always shoved in your face every small frame they're in, they do not have an actual personality/arc because their fan service is their ENTIRE personality, and they usually only exist for the gooners to goon at. They OBJECTIFY women into some THING pleasurable for the audience instead of a someone. I have no idea if I delivered what I meant to say properly, anyone offended by this are always welcomed to call me a gooner, 'most sane Mydei fan', and whatsoever. Mydei is admittedly fan service, just executed properly and I'm the fan he's serving

Danny has an Ice Core.

He isn't aware of it, but this does, in fact, greatly influence how his ghost form looks as he grows up.

His appearance starts getting more rugged, eyes a paler, more piercing green, hair a bit more uncontrollable and wild.

He packs muscle easily, even in human form.

When in ghost form, he has an aura of something patient and dangerous, and that sense only grows the older he gets.

Basically, our boy starts to look like a viking.

No matter how goofy and bumbling he really is, his first impression is always a horrifying moment for whoever is meeting him.

And as his ghost form grows with his human form, he outgrows his hazmat outfit. Frostbite and the Far Frozen fashion him some new clothes-which only compliment and play off of the viking aesthetic he's got going on.

And with the height he inherited from his father?

Our man is a very, very intimidating figure to look at. More so than Dan; because while Dan was dangerous and scary, he was all energy and lightning and rage.

Adult Danny comes across as lethal and terrifying, all ice and persistence and that final, terrible silence before you realize you've already died.

Dan felt like the warrior in front of you. Danny feels like the wilderness in winter, vast and unforgiving.

Anyways, when a summoning for Klarion goes horribly wrong and Danny gets called instead, the Justice League has a moment where they're convinced they've summoned something much, much worse than Klarion.

And Danny, standing there completely confused, is not helping by remaining silent and still while staring John Constantine in the eye.

Good news, the bad guys are also very concerned about the weird ghost viking and are actually moving to stand side by side with the Justice League on this.

Bad news, who the fuck is this guy?
