hi your headcanon on Frankyuri(?) was interesting and i wanted to know why you ship them (i don't want to be rude, i'm just curious) :)

Hii!!! Uh they actually go well together i think, here's my reasons :

1. They get along better than I thought

2. Franky wants to be loved and believes in love (is attracted by literally every woman walking on the street) / Yuri loves giving affection (especially his sister) but I think he can give Franky some too and more romantically, but then again that's just what I see them, it's completely fanon here 🙈

3. And they are complete dumbass and I liked them for that ✨

Ik that some ppl mostly think that he has incestuous feelings for yor but like?? I think he is just overly attached to yor.

remember that the main reason why yor needed a fake boyfriend was because yuri asked her if she had one and he would have a peace of mind if she had a lover that was to his standard.

Then he found out that his sister is MARRIED for a YEAR from a friend WITHOUT HIM KNOWING AND HER NOT TELLING HIM.

He knows that Yor can be airheaded at times, and he's afraid that the reason why Yor never spoke about it is because her husband might be shit. He let Loid go currently because he doesnt have evidence to suspect him as of the moment.

Also, consider that in his point of view, his sister worked herself BLOODY to raise him, give him what he needs, buy him books and necessities. His sister is his only family and her safety is why he joined the secret police in the first place.

And Yor mentioned that he loves being praised by her. I think his conflict with Yor's marriage is because of the supposedly one year gap that she never told him that she's married. In his chapter he had to deal with a man who cheated on his wife and fooled around with women, ofc hes afraid of that happening to his sister. He values family above anything. He pretty much reverts to his childish self around her (with his line of work he probably feels safest around her).

He's not even hostile to any men that Yor knows, just this stranger who is married to his sister. Aside from the fiasco in his first chapter he doesn't even invade Yor's space and tries not to be a burden as much as possible because he genuinely wants her to start living for herself and be happy. He wanted to wiretap their room to find evidence to implicate Loid but backtracked because he doesn't want to hear his sister's sexual life.

Also, he doesnt really attempt to sabotage Yor and Loid's relationship, he's probably still suspecting Loid because come on, he never got to know Loid and suddenly this man he never knew is married to his only family. He literally doesnt trust Loid. Except for the first chapter where he is reasonably vocal about his suspicions he never (atleast as i remember) really spoke about his thoughts abt it again except in front of his boss.

(edit: he even says it himself!)

Moreover, he doesnt want Yor sacrificing herself so much for him, I believe thats why he lives independently from her so she couldve find happiness for herself without her needing to worry about him.

So yeah, Yuri wants to make the country a safe place for Yor. His hatred towards Loid until now is still reasonable because of the circumstances surrounding the marriage. He has huge attachment to his only family left that he grew up thinking had continuously worked herself bloody to raise him because they were in poverty.

It's absolutely canon that Franky is the "Fun Uncle," because he never tells Anya no AND he also enjoys making his brother Loid's life a living hell

After Yuri leaves Loid's home, drunk, he sees Franky's tobacco shop, he thought it's a bar and Franky is the bartender so he yells "Another one!" For another bottle of whiskey or something

Franky is so confused, he was about to leave and going home after work but he can't just leave a drunken man. So he brings him to his home so he could get some rest

At Franky's home, he puts Yuri on the couch, who was unconscious, and Franky decides to seek info about that man, but later. He's so tired.

Yuri wakes up, and as soon as he opened his eyes he knows he's into some stranger's home and so he activated his "dangerous-mode-of-a-SSS-officer" and look for the stranger that brought him here

Franky hears some noise downstairs so he goes check on the drunken man "Maybe he woke up" he thought

Franky saw the not-drunken-man checking if there's camera or some other devices hidden in the room (he knows it because that's what Twilight learned him to do)

Franky coughs to attract his attention, and with a smile he said "Don't worry, there's no camera here. I found you mistook my tobacco shop for some bar and I brought you here so you could get some rest."

Yuri, baffled, stays silent "How does he know what I was doing?!?! Is he that insightful?" He thought

"Huh, maybe he needs water?" "C'mon, I'll bring you some fresh water, maybe then you'll tell me what happened. I saw... Some blood on your shirt." Franky says, going to his kitchen.

Yuri didn't know how to react ; "first I was found by a stranger, knowing I'm covered with blood (which didn't give me a nice impression) but still brings me to his house so I could rest? Why? Didn't he thought it could be dangerous?"

Yuri follows him to the kitchen, already prepared to interrogate him, while Franky was humming a song, filling a mug of water

"I don't bite buddy, here." Franky said, showing him the mug. "Thanks." Yuri responded.

"I want to know though, how could you mistook my tobacco shop for a bar? I don't think there's a bar around here." Franky asked, a little bit amused about all this. "I actually don't really remember what happened, but I know I was in my sister and..." "This stupid Loiloi-" ...her husband's home, so I could meet him."

"Hm, well even if that doesn't explain why there's blood or bruises on you, I'm Franky Franklin. And you?" Franky asks, then I'll know who you are.

"I'm..." He responds, a little bit unsure if he should tell him his name to a stranger.

Knock-knock Franky returns to see there's someone at the door

"I'll go get it. If you have a headache there's some medecine in the drawer."

OMORI is one of the reasons I'm convinced that summoning empathy from the self promotes the best kind of healing. I can know how to improve myself, I can have other people give me sympathy, and be listened to, and still be convinced to stay inside of my negative cycle of thinking.

The times I have consistently been most moved, emotionally and otherwise, is when I've put myself into the eyes of another, and seen pain from their perspective. When I see how those same people overcome said pain, despite their struggles, it really does invoke such a rush of pathos that I no longer feel helpless, or unequipped to challenge what life throws at me.

To quote another favorite game of mine (although it's a quote that still could apply thematically here):

"But now I know I'm not alone. Not the only one for whom the flowers weep."

Sunny and his journey truly will forever resonate with me, this I believe. There is something so cutting, so real about seeing the agony of another, and watching him still fail, which is humanizing, or even still, fight through it. If someone like him can do it, why can't I?

Happy Anniversary to an amazing story. I may not share it to many people as a piece of media, but I hope to share it to many others through my actions, and a gradual change of character. I hope this game grows with me, and has the potential to help many others, as it has helped myself.

Bakucamie for the Ship thing

honestly we need more of this, it really has a lot of potential because it puts Bakugou with someone seemingly completely unfazed by him being…well, Bakugou and he genuinely finds funny. I suppose its the same reason people ship Kiribaku, but I think I like his dynamic with Camie in a romantic sense more. Mostly because I can see her driving him up the wall with him unable to threaten her at all. Always good.
