This sketch made me chuckle. Wish it was better developed

End of an era
Cecily Strong’s last performance as an SNL repertory player was yesterday, December 17th, 2022. Strong is my favorite cast member of all time - amazing actor, fantastic singer, great impressions, great accents, and of course, Cathy Anne. I’m looking forward to seeing what she does next.

Best Cinematography
A Christmas Epiphany has to have the most beautiful cinematography I’ve seen so far on the show.

Interesting sketch structure
NBA on TNT: Danny Hoover is an interesting sketch structure, alternating between on-air and off-air segments. I guess Mail-in Testing Service had a similar structure. It seems like a fun structure to write for.*
*Yeah, I ended a sentence with a preposition. Fight me.

Jenny Slate v. Punkie Johnson
With SNL’s current cast being so large, it’s interesting to see how freshman performers fared on previous seasons. New performers these days are rarely seen - even several seasons in, Punkie Johnson is rarely seen. But watching S35, I see Jenny Slate a lot. Getting more opportunities to perform must have been nice, although I wonder if the smaller cast made things more grueling for each performer.

The importance of doing voices
This version of Under-Underground Records isn’t as strong as subsequent ones, in part because Sudeikis doesn’t do the voice he usually did.

Joy
It’s not a super funny skit, but it’s fun seeing the joy in Key & Peele’s job interview sketch.

Emotion
It wasn’t very funny, but I enjoyed watching Key’s acting and earnestness in this sketch.
