My Evaluation
Media and techniques
Evaluative section on the media and techniques that were used and explored in your project. What did you learn? How did research help this? How did these techniques meet your proposal?
I learned a number of skills but I am most happy with the fact that I now know how to UV map properly. I used a number of youtube videos, online forums and asked others around me to learn this skill properly and now I feel confident about UV mapping on my own.
I also improved greatly on my photoshopping skills as I used the software for most things and now I feel like I can confidently use it on my own to create something good that I will be proud of.
Purpose / theme / concept
Evaluative section the thought processes and the way you solved problems. The creative journey and the decisions you made to meet the context and theme of your project. What did you need to change or explore to make sure you hit the themes of your proposal. Did you need to alter your idea or direction / outcome?
I needed to change many things with my project, one of which being that I decided to not make a full game as I felt like I wouldn't have enough time to do everything. So I decided to just focus on my modeling and asset creation. I thought it would be best for me to put all my time and effort into creating my assets and making everything look good so I can just upload what everything would have looked like online instead of creating an unfinished game.
Outcome
Evaluative section on the final product. Did you meet your expectations? Does your outcome fulfill the project that you set and meet your FMP brief?
I feel like I did not meet all my expectations as I wanted to build a game but instead I only built all the models and assets for it instead, but I do feel like I have put much more effort into the models I did do so I am happy with the models but just a bit upset I wasn't able to put it into a working game.
Conclusion
Evaluative section on the processes of evaluation, feedback and peer assessment. On reflection how could you have improved your project and what could you have done to support the improvements needed. What have you learnt and what do you need to make sure you do next time to improve your project?
In Conclusion I am happy with the work I did as I feel like all my models were good and up to a high standard, I just feel like it's a disappointment that I will not be able to use those models in a game though. I did learn how to UV map properly and learned some other skills which I am happy about as I always want to improve upon myself.

Getting some feedback on my pack
I asked some friends what they think about my design and they all said it was good and it all looks good together and it all looks in place. The only critique i got was that i should have uploaded more photos of the pack from lots of different angles to get a full 360 degree view.

Designing a brand logo
I have decided to call my Cali packs “Shmokey Buds” and have designed a logo for it and I'm happy with how it turned out.
I got a couple fonts from DaFont and then imported them into photoshop and then added a extra layer to both words and gave them both a different colour.

Basic outline for my packs
this is the shape i would like to make my packs be, but if was to make them in maya i would need to make the UV maps of a flat rectangle instead of side on and then i would just have to make the shape un Maya as a model.

Cali Packs
California was one of the first U.S states to legalise cannabis. This allowed growers in the State the freedom to perfect their cultivation techniques and reliably produce some of the world’s strongest cannabis.
California also has outrageously strict testing regulations on the weed it grows, meaning no pesticides and harmful chemicals, mould, or mildew.
So Cali weed is weed that has been grown by professionals in very strict conditions to produce the best available, which is then packaged up in cool looking packs to be sold in dispensaries.

This is what my model of my money stack looks like when i add the material onto it. Im not sure if its a issue with my scale of the box or if I have rotated my UV in Photoshop. I will look into it in photoshop to try and fix it.
