It must not be understated how much WW2 was sold to the people of Germany as a war against, principally, the tyrannical Soviet Union - against who the Third Reich, while carrying out the Holocaust, manufactured stories of supposed atrocities, attempted to accuse of genocide, and whatever else. It was sold, principally, on the anticommunism agreeable to fascists, conservatives, liberals, social-democrats, anarchists, trotskyists, and whichever other segments of Germany's vibrant prewar leftist mileu would offer their condemnations of the USSR as just as bad as the Nazi state, really - that was the line by which they sold the genocide.

I want to die in Gaza. I'm not very interested in my life, but please don't let me see my sisters die in front of me. Please help us evacuate them from Gaza. There isn't much money left to evacuate them. Please donate and share the campaign

Militant DIY tactics for occupying buildings and pushing back cops are effective tools in an arsenal for fighting the state but unless married with concrete short and longterm goals and a coherent political program all of this is going to be for nothing. The Columbia encampment was started to pressure the university to disclose the university's investments in Israel and divest from them. The focus of any occupations or encampments should be on similar concrete goals. I feel like a lot of young people are seeing this happen and feeling obligated to recreate the strategy and tactics because its what they see on social media and they're being flooded with infographics of how you can crit a riot cop with a water jug even if its not the tactics their material conditions demand. Coupled with the martyrdom culture surrounding arrest and self-sacrifice so prevalent in Western "leftism" and the result is going to be a lot of young activists burning out or being incarcerated or incapacitated very early into this movement.
The anarchist adventurism surrounding the student protests is starting to get more than a little obnoxious

This bloodbath has gone on for far too long. At the start of this aggression, the school year had barely just started. The academic year ends in just a month. Everyone, from first graders to university seniors, have lost an entire year at least. I say at least considering even if there is a ceasefire today, Israel had destroyed literally all universities in Gaza and damaged over 400 schools. Lest we forget also Israel's deliberate targeting of university professors and academics.
You absolutely cannot mistake the intent behind all of this.

When you feel like the world is cruel, cold and uncaring, when you feel you're not doing enough to be genuinely kind, when you feel you're not having a positive effect on the life of your trans siblings, sisters and brothers, just go and text one of them
Ask them how they're doing, and listen. Let them know that you don't take them for granted, let them know they're not alone, let them know that you appreciate them
Verbalize your feelings. Let them know that they're cool, or that they're funny, knowledgeable, attentive, thoughtful, mindful, kind, sweet, supportive, reliable, and so on
And let them know that you notice their efforts and struggles, that you see them, and that you appreciate being a part of their life. Tell them and show them that you care

I need people to stop glorifying the 4B movement in Korea, from a Western (white) perspective. Stop it. If you are blissfully unaware of this (having not been on TikTok) - in theory, it makes sense. No sex with men, no dating men, no child rearing with men, and no marriage with men. But. BUT. Feminists in Korea are problematic AF. I know this from both personal experience (having been on the receiving end of their ire online) and everything I've read about them, in Korean. I see all these white TikTokers (and even some in the Korean diaspora) fawning over how "we" in the US need this and, no. If your feminism is transphobic, hates gay men, hates men in general, that's not the feminism I'd endorse. Why is Korean feminism transphobic? In 2020, Korean feminists ACTIVELY CAMPAIGNED AGAINST a woman who was accepted to Sookmyung University. An all womens' university. But she was a woman, you say. What could be their problem? According to Korean feminists, they didn't want a "man" in their space. Because she is a trans woman. This is not unusual for Korean feminists. Having lived there for 5 years, to some extent, I understand their anger against misogyny. But if you are truly against the toxic patriarchy that exists in Korea, you must also help dismantle military conscription because that is where a lot of men become radicalized, bullied, etc etc and "grow up" to be the most toxic form of men seen on this earth. But Korean feminists don't give AF about that and in fact, I've read a lot of them express that it's good for men to suffer. Guess what? That view is internalized misogyny and toxic patriarchy, too. And I don't want to hear it about the movement being so "young". Korean women have stepped up to the plate before in our history. We are capable of better than this fucking nonsense. It's a bunch of transphobic, gay hating radicals that have hijacked what was supposed to be about social justice. WOMAD (link is to the Wikipedia article, not their site) and Megalia are the two sites they stem from. It is the most toxic group of people I've ever had the displeasure to encounter online. Any form of criticism is, at best, ignored and worst - I've been "called out" for being Korean-American, and therefore, to "butt out" of "Korean issues". Amongst other bullying I've personally received. And yes, not just on forums but on public articles that I've commented on.
I know it's a catchy title and it appeals in theory but please, please do not glorify these transphobes and TERFs. They don't deserve your attention.

Among those arrested in Atlanta today were Noelle McAfee, Chair of the Philosophy Department at Emory University. You can hear her ask the PhD student taking the video:
“Can you call the Philosophy Department office and tell them I’ve been arrested?...I’m Noelle McAfee, I’m Chair of the Philosophy Department”

If you want people to stop asking just give a straight answer about your race already and be done with it. What are you. Are you mixed. How much. That's all you have to say. We just want what's best for you.
normal things to ask to a random woman online
do you want to measure my skull while you're at it? i literally have a selfie tag if you want to go through it to prove whatever theories you have. i have never made any claims of anything besides mentioning how different members of my family got to my country. that's it. you're the demented ones that are obsessed with racial purity and kept checking me for, idk what the fuck it is you're searching for, just cut it out already
i'm gonna go take a walk and i hope i get run over by a bus
