A suppose to the Light Orb in Hilda S2E9

First of all, deerfox is known as a mysterious creatrue in Hilda's world, therefore it might has some kind of unique ability, which in my opinion, 'Mental Connection' between itself and another creature could be it. For examples, when a deerfox suddenly appeared in front of Hilda and Twig in this scene, it was probably because it had FELT its congener--Twig. What's more,Twig's parents could also had FELT their child, and that's why they stayed before crossing the light bridge and waited for Twig's coming up.

So what is the Light Orb around Twig? It first appeared in Twig's  dream, and Twig showed his amzement and curiousity,which meant he didn't know what it was. However Twig then started to follow the orb, showing that there was some kind of connection between the two, and it was the instinct within as a deerfox forced Twig to follow the orb automatically.

When Twig entered the Deerfoxes' World,he found that there were quaities of light orbs floating in air aside the other deerfoxs.On the contrary to the fact that these orbs were smoothly floating and surrounding other deerfoxes, Twig's orb was always flying up and down hastely and escaping to the distance instead of surrounding close to Twig.

Twig started to find his own real orb after he discovered that nearly every deerfox had an orb. Soon it appeared, circled around him for a while but then fled away just like the one in his dream. Twig had to chase it behind and other deerfoxes stopped to watch this exordinary scene since the orb shouldn't bahave like that.

After the orb flew for a distance, it faded away into a familiar figure(which is still a touching scene without understanding). Twig lowered his head, showing an enlightened  look. His parents stared gentlely at him, which could be an affrimance to his infermance.

So, my suppose is that the orb represents a CONNECTION only belongs to the deerfox. As the pic followed shows,every deerfox  possesses only one orb with it, and the orb shows up only in the Deerfoxes' World. The orb represents another deerfox, and the closer two deerfoxes are, the smoother the orbs float.

Is the CONNECTION destined between the two specifical deerfoxes? Obviously no. The little deerfox in this red circle had no orb. And this means that the CONNECTION needs a period of time to be fostered.

Back to Twig, Twig's orb was always escaping fast, which probably means that the "deerfox" belongs to Twig was getting farer and farer. The fading of the orb also showed that that 'deerfox' didn't belong to the Deerfoxes'World. And who was that 'deerfox'? The answer has already been showed to us: A fateful bond has formed between Hilda and Twig, a holy, indivisible CONNECTION which used to form between the deerfoxes only.

Let's take a look of how it performs.

At the beginning of this article, I suggested that 'Mental Connection' was the special ability of the deerfox species, which means that the CONNECTION could be mental.

When Twig was still a baby deerfox, he didn't know what the light orb and CONNECTION were. His hesitation in front of the light bridge showed that Twig had never been to the Deerfoxes' World before. However, when crossing the bridge, Twig surprisingly heard a calling from Hilda which was too far to convey by sound. A performance of CONNECTION.

But did the CONNECTION only let the Twig know the location of Hilda and hear her voice far away? This might be too simple for the mystrious deerfox.

Here comes the most important part. Let's take a look on Season1 Episode 1,where everything began. Twig didn't sign up the elf's protocal but he could see the hidden world of elves. I think it could be alike to the Connection(?) in Sense8 Series that Twig obtained Hilda's visual sense. And as the pic below shows, since it was just a SENSE, unlike Hilda, Twig didn't have the ability from the protocal to touch the elves' house.

Back to the time when baby Twig heard Hilda's calling, he probably not only heard Hilda, but also FELT the helplessness of Hilda, and dashed towards her no matter what had happened.

This faithful and holy CONNECTION was obviously formed at the time when Hilda saved the entrapped baby Twig. In the magnificent music, two pure souls linked and relied on each other since then. As a deerfox, this CONNECTION was above everything. And that's why Twig's parents allowed him to returned to Hilda, the girl he would devote all his life to guard.
