my personal opinion as someone whose sexuality racial background and relationship to disability all involve a degree of passing or liminiality or conditional acceptance within dominant culture is that bisexual culture is in shambles because white bisexuals don’t understand that having a liminal identity IS a privilege and it means you have greater freedom to go between spaces of privilege and spaces of marginalization undetected. like that’s the point of the identity.
