Yuuri stood at the top of the tallest building in the city, both arms leaning on the railing of the balcony he occupied, his posture relaxed. Far below him cars the size of ants moved, brightly lit, along the roads that crisscrossed the ground. Above him clouds swirled, a storm brewing.

Yuuri looked up at the sky, the energy of lightning gathering in the lines of his palms and beneath his fingernails as soft rolls of thunder in the distance tugged at his chest. A raindrop fell, a dark spot on the cement balcony by his feet, and Yuuri quietly considered dispelling the storm before shaking his head, turning back to the city.

Let it rain. Gloom was befitting of the overlord of the world.

Summary:

Loving Yuuri was a choice that Viktor never regretted making. His smile, his laughter, the way his lips felt against his own—nothing could make him happier than having Yuuri in his arms.

But when the entire world has no idea that figure skating rivals Yuuri Katsuki and Viktor Nikiforov are in a relationship, Viktor can’t do anything at all when Yuuri gets into an accident and is rushed to the hospital the day after he proposes in a hotel room in Nagano.

FINAL CHAPTER IS UP!

Victor wipes some sweat off his brow with a towel. “Hi,” he says.

Yuuri tilts his head for a moment, taking him in. “I don’t know why I’m surprised your workout gear is goth too.”

Victor chuckles. “I went to a different spin class than usual since I had time. Minotaur Ride has a Prince versus Madonna session I’d been wanting to try for a while.”

There’s a beat.

“I know what those words mean, but not strung together like that,” Yuuri admits.

Victor snorts, but it’s interrupted by Makkachin coming to the door and Vicchan seeing him. Vicchan’s fur stands on end, and Makkachin makes himself flat and still to allow Vicchan to sniff him on his own terms.

Vicchan is immediately satisfied by this, and he goes from fearful to happy, wagging his tail. Yuuri takes the lead off, and off they go, bounding around the apartment together culminating in a puppy pile on the sofa.

Victor takes the opportunity to put a hand on Yuuri’s hip and reel him in for a kiss. Yuuri wraps a hand in his hair until he feels how crunchy and cold it is. “Oh my God, take a shower,” Yuuri complains with a laugh.

Victor chuckles against his lips. “Join me?”

Yuuri almost says yes, but before he does he remembers something he packed for their staycation. “I just took one, so I’ll wait in the bedroom if that’s okay?”

“More than,” Victor says. He grabs Yuuri’s weekender, leading him to the master suite. Yuuri takes off his shoes and sits on the edge of the bed while Victor strips out of his workout gear down to his briefs. Yuuri’s eyes drop down to his ass, and he bites his lip for a moment because it’s an incredible ass and he feels a sudden urge to eat out.

Presenting the Otayuri Big Bang 2019: Mini-Bang edition!

After looking over the results of the interest check we ran and debating on what the best course of action would be, we’ve decided on making this year’s edition of the OBB a mini-bang!

What does this mean? This means that the minimum word count for writers and requirements for artists will be lower! This is, of course, only a required minimum and you may write as much as you want or make as many art pieces as you like.

Exact details on the new requirements, updated rules and sign-ups for this year’s event will be forthcoming soon, but you can expect everything to be ready to go and sign-up by the 5th of May!

We hope that by lowering the stakes a bit, people will feel less intimidated by the big requirements of big bangs and join us with more ease! Let’s all celebrate the wonderful relationship between Otabek and Yuri in this 2019!
