No it says they don't benefit from trans women having it "the worst". I just don't understand your logic here sorry. Have a nice day.
I've been seeing this article used to explain that trans women have it worse than trans men due to a pay gap.
First of all, the article leads to this, which is also not a study, its just another article about a survey from the same news outlet. This is referenced numerous times for other, unrelated statistics about trans women. Now, that does have a whole lot of statistics about trans women, but it also has a lot of statistics about all trans people.
[source for that graph btw - i suggest reading that study. its got a lot of interesting information with extensive graphs and mentions of variables]
I had to look through numerous reports because the article did not specify which one the graph about the wage gap was from. Turns out, its none of them.
Went back to the article looked at the other one it was referencing, trying to find an actual source. Found this press release, which does not even contain any statistics regarding transgender men.
Ok I managed to find this, which appears to be the source of the numbers in the wage gap graph. This is still not really a great source on the topic outside of a very, very narrow subject. The survey consisted of less than 7k people who were all employed already, so, not a great survey to use when discussing an entire community of people. Go read the explanation/summary/etc for yourself, but spoiler - even that acknowledges that this statistic has very narrow application.
One study of a couple thousand employed trans people that concluded that of the people surveyed...
This study doesn't account for a lot of variables. The study itself acknowledges that it doesn't account for a lot of variables. I really don't think that this is a great example of of trans men having things better than trans women, but whatever
I think that the article being passed around is very misleading on its own. It has information both from a very extensive study that meticulously surveyed tens of thousands of people, and a graph that was made from information from a very very narrow study of less than 7k people. The information is presented in a very misleading way with a focus on transgender women.
I'm not saying anything on the topic of who has it better or worse, I'm just saying that this information was presented in an extremely biased and misleading way. The actual numbers at hand are not very useful outside of a very, very small application. Do go read that bigger study though. That's very interesting and has a lot of breakdowns by both race and gender.
ok bye

So the above statement is correct. Trans women can't benefit from it????
Sorry just to be clear. Androcentric means "when trans women are not allowed in lesbian spaces"?

I mean I believe there's nuance to that but. You're still just talking about trans women's struggles. How do trans women (who are trans) benefit from trans people's (including trans women because they are trans people) struggles?
That doesn't make the space androcentric though, it just means people are transmisogynistic. And, like, butch tme ppl have their own issues in community. Which isn't the same as being outright shunned because of their identity but it is more complex than "they are rewarded always for their identity"
And like I agree with that last paragraph but again that's not really what "androcentric" means.

Yeah but I don't see how trans women are benefiting from those things. Also I wouldn't consider lesbian spaces "androcentric" like that'd be saying gay male spaces are "gynocentric" it's just. Not true. Unless you're in lesbian spaces where they're all men for some reason but all the once I've seen aren't like that. That also isn't really... a benefit to all trans people?
Like you're just describing ways in which trans women/fems are hurt. Not how they're benefiting from being hurt. Which is what that statement posits.

Buddy blocking everyone who tries to inform you politely that you're misunderstanding the word, is not a good look.

repeat after me: "transmisogyny" is the intersection of transphobia and misogyny. it is not a form of discrimination exclusive to transfeminine people. it is something that affects every type of trans person.

These are just both TERF and MRA talking points.
"Transitioning to reap the benefits of being a man" <- terfism
"Hiding behind womanhood" <- mra rhetoric
And yet we're the mra terf detransitioners? Okay. Sure, buddy.

I'm just gonna say it: people using the term "transandrobros" gives me the exact same vibe as people saying "feminazis".

Buddy I'm not harassing you, I'm trying to have a discussion where you give me proof and explain to me what you're saying. The fact that you can't do that and then say uninformed disgusting made up things about transandrophobia theory means you are indeed bigoted.
The fact that you constantly just reject any and all discussion and refuse to actually read things and explain things just cements the fact that you don't actually know what you're talking about, and have just found a marginalised group of people that's fun for you to shit on so you feel superior. That also makes you a bigot.
I'm done here too because clearly there is absolutely no basis for anything you are saying, because time and time again you have refused to explain or give examples or provide proof or context. Have fun being an asshole.
Can you please explain how transandrophobia is radical feminism?
Overlaps between transandrophobia and radical feminism:
'Lesbians can like trans men because they're afab'(that's what 'bi lesbian' actually means')
Telling trans women they're 'just reinventing gender roles' by being feminine and being reactionary at any suggestions self-indentified cis men could be transfem eggs
Treating afab gnc people as 'more revolutionary than trans women could ever be'
Detaching race and gender for their own benefit
Obsession with Greece's B.C 'chauvinism and csa are based actually' era and zero regard to the actual culture and struggles of greek people

I never said it doesn't give you a say, I said it doesn't stop you from being bigoted. Those are two different things.
You're not out here saying, "here's my experience as a black transmasc person, and here's the parts of transandrophobia theory that are in direct conflict with that experience". You're just making statements and not backing them up with anything. I've linked you to multiple definitions of transandrophobia which do not do anything you've described above. You've yet to give me anything that backs up what you're saying.
Can you explain to me, how a theory coined by a person of colour, with a lot of other people of colour in the discussions who specifically talk about how their masculinity interacts with racism and transphobia and how they have a unique experience because of that, separates race and gender? Give me a hot minute and I'll find links to their blogs if you'd like.
Like I'm literally just asking for you to give me sources of your opinions and explain what you mean but you're not doing that. You're just making claims and expecting me to be like "yep checks out" when you're not citing your work.
Like literally, read the definitions I've linked above and tell me how they do what you've said they do.

You can't hide behind your gender and race you're still a bigot? As I've already said being a minority doesnt stop you from being a shit cunt. Youre a shit cunt. And saying you listened to other people about transmasc issues is like saying you listened to blind people about Deaf peoples issues. They ain't gonna fucking know.
You literally said you didn't read anything about the theory so how the fuck could you know?
Seems like you're just so stupid you need to have other people spell things out for you because you couldn't understand what it's talking about, so you got others to explain so you didn't have to spend more than 3 seconds thinking. Newsflash little buddy: they were wrong and so are you.
Show me proof. You have yet to do that. Otherwise you're literally talking out of your ass. Because you keep saying you don't read shit. So I can't trust anything you're saying.

So you admit it. You're not actually reading this so you're just spreading bullshit because you're an asshole and a transphobic bigot. If you won't read a post that very clearly explains things to you, why should I (or anyone) trust what you're saying because clearly you aren't actually seeing the things you're saying in the original post, and are just making shit up.
"Stop picking fights on the internet" says the person spreading bullshit about transmascs. You're the one starting shit lmao I'm just finishing it.

So like. Here's a fun list about OP:
1. Not going to read any of the definitions I've linked and therefore refuse to have an actual understanding of the thing they're "criticising"
2. Not providing any proof that these things are being said, so they can have reasonable doubt. "Just trust me bro" no I don't think I will, because if I haven't seen them and you can't provide proof, then you're wrong and lying.
3. Telling people to listen to people who ARE NOT transmascs about transmasc issues. It doesn't work like that buddy.
4. Yeah I don't care that you're transmasc you're still a transphobe & a bigot??? Being a minority doesn't make you immune from being a shit cunt.

Like. Here's the definition the coiner of the term uses, which says nothing about any of those points. Which is by a person of colour, btw, so it seems like your 4th point is just way off base.
Here's another definition, which doesn't mention anything you've said.
Here's another. Still nothing.
So if you can provide proof about how the theory specifically interacts with those things you've said, for instance someone actually going "part of transandrophobia theory is lesbians being attracted to trans men because they're afab", then I'd believe you. Otherwise it sounds like you just hate transmascs who use words you don't like.

Do you have like. Sources. And an explanation as to how those are specifically to do with the theory of "trans men and transmascs have unique experiences with oppression, discrimination, and bigotry"? It seems like you're just pulling random shit out of your ass tbqh.
