So, last night I was hospitalized for around 5 hours. I’m doing a lot better, but I have the flu and a couple other things, so consider this a notice of hiatus. We’ll give it 5 days I guess and hopefully I’ll be feeling better.

Mavira never had the greatest moral compass, but it pretty much disappeared when her sister sided with Solaire-Altek’s clone and tried to kill her. She tries & tries again to compartmentalize the fact that she killed her twin, but even she can’t justify killing her other half like that. Mavira & her sister were extremely close until she decided to clone Solaire and attempt to recreate him. Mavira started her heavy use of drugs and alcohol pretty much immediately after she killed her sister. It hasn’t stopped because she’s not able to forgive herself and move on.

Although Mavira tells people she doesn’t give a shit, she went through the great effort of preserving her sister’s good image and making her somewhat of a legend in Yvanian lore. She made her sister’s death look like an assassination from a royal family, which fed the commoner’s anger and served as propaganda for the war effort.

As much as Mavira claims to hate Solaire-Altek, things were very much different in the beginning. Solaire was the only person Mavira admitted to loving and it’s very much her fault for what happened to Solaire. During the beginning of the revolution, there was a bombing, and Solaire wound up in a coma. Even way back in the beginning Mavira had a god complex—enough of one that she convinced herself that she could do no wrong—and enough of one that made her believe she could fix the unfixable.

So she cloned Solaire-Altek and tried to force whatever memories weren’t destroyed into the clone. Theoretically, it should have worked, but Solaire was far too damaged for there to not be repercussions. Mavira incinerated the original body and when ‘Solaire’ woke up, she thought she’d have her lover back. The clone’s instability was not at first readily apparent, but Solaire’s original paranoia and delusions of grandeur became amplified. In other words, Mavira fucked up. Mavira fucked up big time.

Although the clone holds the original memories of Solaire, once he discovered that he was nothing but an inferior copy to the original, that made his declining mental state worse. This lead to Solaire-Altek’s eventual betrayal and the creation of a cult dedicated to ending Mavira’s reign. Out of all the wretched things Mavira has done, this eats away at her the most. In Yvana, clones have no rights, so the disgusting reality is that this Solaire is nothing but a walking sack of organs to harvest was nothing but demoralizing to him.

All of this and more is what lead to Mavira gaining her greatest enemy—but she’s unwilling to admit even to herself that she’s too hesitant to put the clone down like the family dog. A part of her still loves him very much. The part of her that was stupid enough to think that someone, barely out of childhood, could play ‘God’ to that extent.

Yvana is really progressive in some aspects, but downright medieval in others. Intelligence is considered of utmost importance. To the point that if you’re moderately to severely mentally disabled, you really don’t want to consider moving there. Although there are living facilities that guarantee a decent quality of life for the very few Yvanians that are mentally disabled, the rules on Yvanians procreating that carry specific genetic traits that might lead to it occurring are draconian in nature. If there’s a high chance of a Yvanian couple making a child that is of below average intelligence, they have the choice of genetically altering the child so they won’t carry that specific trait, or being made infertile via medication or surgical means.

Children that are born with severe developmental disabilities have their sexual organs altered so that they have no chance of reproducing. All Yvanians are ran through advanced testing at birth to ensure that the child will be healthy and above all fit Yvanian standards of ‘functional’. Those that are below average in terms of the Yvanian equivalent of IQ are not allowed to have certain jobs and are oftentimes treated terribly by those that deem themselves better.

With knowledge being at such a forefront for their society, how easy is it to attain a higher education in Yvana?

Super easy! All education is 100% free in Yvana. You are required to obtain at least a general education up through teenage years, but if you can test out of it then skipping it entirely is no problem. Mandatory education isn’t there to inhibit those that truly hate the system, so the option of testing out is given, but you’d better know your stuff. Everyone in Yvana is chipped at birth to hold their level of education and basic medical records. You want a job? You automatically get the chip read by the employer and automatically are rejected if  you do not have an education. It’s incredibly, incredibly hard to live as an adult if—for some reason—you get the chip illegally removed. No job will take you lest it is also illegal & the educational system will not accept you either.

Are college equivalent things needed at all or are most thing taught in standard education?

Teenagers have a choice of going either a vocational route or studying up for the equivalent of college. They will then go to separate schools once their general education is of satisfactory level for their purpose. It is also very easy to change your mind—children are not expected to 100% know what they want to do as an adult, but they are expected to think about it and try different things. Education is also free for adults if they want to go back and learn something else.

If someone is of lower intelligence are they encouraged to better themselves or are they entirely ostracized from the community?

Depending on the person’s ability, they will be required to get a general education like everyone else. For those that are of very, very low intellect there are life skills classes in place for them to take throughout their lifespan. (Those that are mentally disabled are not given the choice of immortality & the average lifespan of a Yvanian is 1000 years.)

How common are the mutilations and are there any voices against it?

Removal of means of reproduction for developmentally disabled babies are done at birth and are required. Should the parents avoid this, there are legal ramifications. Since it is also so encouraged to genetically alter the embryo so this cannot happen (along with things such as hereditary illnesses), it is very much a rarity in modern day society. Since it is so ingrained in Yvanians that being developmentally disabled is bad and 100% avoidable, it is quite rare for a birth to happen, and the parents are very much pushed to abort. The loudest against these policies are the ones that, of course, have a family member that has a developmental disability.

For Yvanians, the genitals are pretty similar to humans, although there are some differences that are worth noting. Penises are ‘ribbed’. (You know how porn stars usually get that surgery to make their minora not look so beef-cakey? Yeah. I can’t find a nicer wording for this.) The clitoris for Yvanians is larger and more spherical. Like the tip of the penis, its colors can also range from pink to purple.

Nipples also tend to match the color of the clit / glans of the penis. Those that are given the male sex ( not gender ) at birth are not born with nipples, while those that are sexed as female are.

The orgasm of someone with a uterus / vagina is also much stronger than its human counterpart. A suction like action takes place, which increases fertility rates.
