EXCLUSIVE: Kate Hudson (Almost Famous) and Craig Robinson (The Office) are set to star in writer-director Ana Lily Amirpour’s (A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night) third feature Blood Moon, which is being produced by Oscar-Winner John Lesher (Birdman) via his Le Grisbi banner.

Zac Efron is in talks to join the intriguing fantasy feature, which will chart the story of a girl with strange and dangerous abilities who escapes from a mental asylum in New Orleans. CAA Media Finance and Rocket Science will be selling to buyers at the AFM.

Set in hedonistic streets of New Orleans, the film is inspired by fantasy-adventure movies of the 80’s and 90’s. It is understood to pair strange, violent, and humorous sequences with a range of music from heavy metal to Italian techno. Production is set to begin in spring 2019.

Lesher said, “Lily’s unique vision and poetic style sets her apart from the pack. She is truly one of the most exciting filmmakers working today.”

If you need any help regarding music instruments or music in general, I’d say your best bet is Taylor Swift. She’s the best and she knows a lot. Tried to teach me how to play the guitar too and if I had a few more lessons I’m sure I would’ve been really good at it because she’s that great. It’s nice to meet you, Theo. I’m Zac. If you want me to, I’ll ignore the fact you slipped because I think it’s almost time to get ready for all the Christmas talk. Although the next upcoming holiday after Halloween is actually Thanksgiving I feel like everyone seems to forget about that one.

I finally broke out and dusted off the guitar. I haven’t played since the band broke up a few years back but I’m thinking of playing more. Maybe doing a little more recording. Now lets hope I’m not rusty to all hell and sound bloody awful. Anyone have and tips to getting back into the music or how I should record or equipment I just need to have. Remember, it’s been a while. I’m Theo and I was determined to mention anything other than Halloween because that’s all I’ve heard talk of for the last few weeks. Until I mentioned it right then, damn.

It wasn’t always that she had some free time between one job and the next, so after they were done filming Spider-Man Zendaya decided to stay in New York and enjoy what the city had to offer before she had to go back to LA. Ever since two years ago that place started feeling a little bit like a home away from home, and she would admittedly take any excuse to extend her staying and immerse into a quick nostalgia while she fell back to the old routine of walking around the streets of Manhattan and acting like a local.

There was probably only another hour or so of sunlight when she went back to her hotel, and almost like it was planned just as she was crossing the door to her room her phone buzzed and Zac’s name popped on the screen. A smile instantly curved her lips and she typed back a ‘be quick’ next to her room number so he wouldn’t have to stop in the lobby to ask questions. Her eyes scanned the room trying to decide if she should attempt to tidy things up before he got there, but she figured they would end up messing everything up all over again and making her bed sounded pointless enough not to do it so she only rearranged the pillows in a lazy attempt to make something look slightly more organized.

Not more than ten minutes later she heard a knock on the door and sprinted across the room to open it, wearing a big smile on her face. “Hey!” She wrapper her arms around his neck in a tight hug, completely ignoring the pile of things he was holding in on each hand because it had been too long since they’d last seen each other - her attention only switching to the food when when the magic words left his mouth. “You…” If it was possible her smile got even wider when she rea the name on the pizza box. “Have I ever told you you’re one of my favorite people ever? Because you totally are.” She moved to the side so Zac could walk in and find a way to put the food, closing the door behind her. “And what’s up with you? I can’t even remember the last time I actually saw your face.”

A chuckle escaped his grinning lips as she hugged him, struggling for a brief moment to not drop any of the food he was holding as he kissed her on the cheek. “Yes, multiple times. Literally every day when we were doing press almost a year ago.” He walked inside once she made room for him to do so, placing the pizza boxes and the ice cream on a table nearby. “The last time we actually saw each other was your birthday, wasn’t it? God, we went over a month without seeing each other. How dare we. I didn’t do much, honestly. Just been spending lots of time with either Alex or her sister Cat and the dogs. And I took care of some stuff for my production company but we don’t really want to get into all that boring stuff, right?” Zac shrugged out of his jacket and hung it over a chair before looking back at her. “And what about you? Are you not missing home? I thought you’d be back home the second you wrapped up the Spider-Man sequel.” He didn’t even pay much attention to the condition of her room. If anything the fact she didn’t tidy it up made it look less like a plain hotel room but more like someone had actually spent quite some time in there. 

“Do you have a freezer in here or a minibar? If you don’t we have to eat the pizza very fast or we’ll have ice soup instead of ice cream.” The room immediately smelled like pizza once he opened the pizza boxes. If he hadn’t been hungry yet he would’ve been now that the amazing smell filled his nostrils. “Man, I can’t even remember the last time I had pizza. Probably when we made that vegan pizza together.”

Adam: It really is, and it's very unsettling at the moment, because it's the worst thing ever. Right? Feel like that's been a long time coming too. Yeah, she told me that she's been in New York for a while now. I wish I had known, I told her I would have gotten you guys tickets to the shows at MSG while we were there a few days ago finishing up tour if either Anna or I knew. As long as everything pans out, yeah. Gotta stick it in between this Queen Mary Halloween party, and taking Dusty out trick-or-treating at some point, but we're gonna make it happen. You and Alex are of course welcome to come if you're around.

Zac: But at the same time you're on tour and she's working a lot and sometimes you don't get to see your friends for a couple of months but I feel like it's even more special when you reunite after such a long time of not seeing each other. Man, that would've been amazing. But I'm sure you and Maroon 5 are going to be around for a long time so next time you're having a concert in either New York or LA feel free to hit us up with tickets because I'd love to see you guys play a show. Taking Dusty trick-or-treating sounds fun. Does she know who she wants to dress up as this Halloween? And what are you and Anna going to dress up as? We'll definitely make sure to show up at your party too!

Throwback to the time when fetus Zac was pumping gas and told the paparazzi he doesn’t smile because he isn’t happy and was annoyed by them so he was giving them the “go away looks” but the paparazzi kept annoying him for a smile and so he kept ignoring them and told them he wasn’t happy until he gave in and ended up smiling and laughing adorably while trying to stop himself but he couldn’t help himself cause all he does is smile even when he tries to be angry.  😂

Waste A Moment || Zacdaya

It felt like the last time they hung out had been a decade ago and that had to be changed. He was missing his friend and being in New York for a couple of weeks now only reminded him of the time they’d spent there to film The Greatest Showman. It was hard to believe that it was almost a year ago that they’d been on the press tour for that movie since it certainly didn’t feel like that much time has passed. 

He knew fairly well that there were two things that would make Zendaya even happier than just her friends presence: Pizza and Ice Cream which is why he stopped by Joe’s to pick up a pizza for her and also one for himself, making sure that it was Zendaya’s favorite and that there was lots of cheese on it before he went to one of the stores that had Häagen Dazs ice cream again picking her favorite along with two other flavors so they’d have enough ice cream for this afternoon. After leaving the grocery store he shot her a quick text that he’d be arriving soon as he made his way to her hotel with the pizzas and the grocery bag filled with ice cream.

When he finally arrived at her hotel a few minutes later, he was actually surprised there weren’t any paparazzi waiting outside but he was also glad there weren’t any in sight since no one knew about his current whereabouts and he’d like to have it stay that way. Knocking at her hotel room door, he waited for the other to open the door, grinning when she finally did. “Cheese on cheese pizza and ice cream is the password to get inside your room, right?” The older asked, holding up the pizza boxes and the grocery bags in his hands.
