hi y'all, I've never posted one of these before, but we're roughly $750 in the hole right now

this might be surprising to people, but I don't make huge amounts of money, on account of being a lawyer for poor people. we live in a VHCOL area and rent alone (not utilities or anything else) is more than one of my paychecks. my credit cards are maxxed out trying to pick up the slack. it sucks. it has sucked for a long time but I've been trying to handle it on my own, and I'm tapped out. and like, it was this or starting an onlyfans.
