So another fun fact about mutated Dib from my AU that I wanted to share: he’s excellent at mimicking kitten meows, newborn human children’s cries and women’s screams. Because of mutations his vocal cords got deformed in such a way that prevents him from making sounds into complete words normally, but allows him to produce widest range of different noises and to easily control his voice to be either extremely high or extremely low, depending on his goals. Of course he uses this tactic to lure in his prey more easily. I imagine he would climb inside a dumpster and start producing child’s cries in order to eventually make some concerned person walk up close enough to his dumpster. Sometimes he can also make such noises unintentionally, for example when he’s in a lot of physical pain or when he’s extremely scared of something.
