Recently I made some changes to my Operating system. In fact there was a lot of changes, and I do not know which particular caused the problem: i moved Windows from one hardware (motherboard and processor) to another. Then I moved Windows from one HDD to another (I booted under another Windows and copy Documents and Settings, Windows and Program Files folders with ntfs permissions). At some point (after moving to another HDD) Windows didn't want to boot. It booted up to Windows XP logo on blue screen an hangs for hours. So I tried to make repair install. It goes successfully up to 'completing install' section and it hangs successfully on 26 minutes. It seems that there is the same problem as during boot, because there is the same noise from HDD (1 noise every 30 seconds or so). Also during repair install keyboard (both ps2 and USB) doesn't work. Mouse work. But if I touch at least one button on keyboard - mouse stops working ) Luckily I can bypass entering serial number on Windows XP SP3, so that I do not need keyboard.
