well, Dib can’t say he didn’t see it coming. He’s SUPER perceptive and noticed that Gaz and Zim were always... less hostile with each other compared to how they treated everyone else. He doesn’t know what they see in each other AT ALL but, he knows if anyone can handle Zim’s antics, it’s Gaz. He’s happy that  Gaz is happy, and he’s relieved that being with Gaz distracts Zim from his mission. Dib can finally focus on his other hobbies/work, but... he wonders when Zim will realize he’s getting off track and cast her aside. A psycho, narcissistic, megalomaniac like Zim can’t actually like anyone...right?
