1.Explain the following wireless device and discuss how to properly choose each device.

- A WiFi range extender sometimes called a range expander, is a type of wireless repeater used to expand the reach of a wireless Local Area Network.The device is situated in between a base router or access point and a client that is not enough to receive acceptable service or one that is on the other side of a barrier.

2.) To create a good network the basic plan is:
a.)Decide what kind of WLAN is needed

A test installation must be a systematic approach to testing which include:
Acceptance or commissioning testing
service or repair testing such as fault finding
Regression testing
Design the verification
manufacturing or production test

1) Wireless Bridge
A wireless bridge is basically one router communicating wirelessly to another router. Individual devices are connected to the routers via Ethernet cables, but the two routers are linked wirelessly. This unites both routers, allowing all connected devices to be on the same network.
2) Wireless Extenders (AKA Repeaters)
Wireless extenders are standalone devices, but some wireless routers are advanced enough to work as extenders, too.
The problem with two wireless routers connected to the same network is an issue called “double NATting”, which results in some functions working and others not. This is because a particular process (the one that allows all of your connected devices to share a single IP address) would occur once for each connected router.

3.)Identify the steps to troublehshoot the network for the following problems:
a.)Workstation Issues,
Ping
A really useful tool for tracking down network errors is ping. Open up a command prompt and type ping followed by the IP address of a computer you know is on your network.
Logging In
If a user reports they cannot log on to the network and you have checked the hardware and network infrastructure is all okay, make sure they are using the correct combination of username and password.
b.)Access point issues,
Network Performance
IP and other Protocol Problems
Credential, Permission and Rights Problems
c.)Server or infrastructure issues.
Infrastructure performance
End-user complaints often signify that there is an infrastructure issue. However, when application servers and infrastructure devices are operating normally, obvious error states can’t be located.
Poor Wi-Fi performance
When the Wi-Fi network is underperforming, network teams should check for frequency interference, rogue routers (such as phones being used as hotspots), misconfigured Wi-Fi routers and compatibility issues between certain Wi-Fi clients and routers.
Intermittent performance issues.
Track occurrences of the specific performance issue and look for patterns.

Title: CN Topic 6: Routing Protocols.
1. Research routing protocols and write a brief report that explains the difference between interior Gateway protocols and exterior gateway protocols.
Describe the protocols used.
Ans:
Routing protocols also known as a routing policy.
routing protocols uses software that route the algorithms in order to determine optimal network data which transfer and communicate paths between the network nodes.
Not only that, routing protocols also facilitate router communication which includes the overall of network topology understanding.

IGP and EGP is used to transmit the data packets between different networks using routable protocols like Internet Protocol
Interior gateway protocols is used to forward the packets among different networks that use the same autonomous system number.
There are 3 categories of IGP :
1.) Distance Vector protocols.
2.) Link state protocols.
3.) Hybird Protocols.
Exterior gateway protocols have the capability of forwarding data packets to the different networks with different autonomous system.
The exterior gateway protocol: Border Gateway Protocol.
