This picture is of a pencil holder I use to have on my desk. When brainstorming ideas for this image, I remembered I still had this thing lying around and I started taking photos of it. The photo I ended up going with was taken with the wide angle camera on my phone while being close the subject giving this this interesting look. Each of these small ‘posts’ can be seen as a point.

This is a picture I took going through Nevada on I-80 near Elko. When I went through the tunnel, I noticed all the leading lines and I snapped this photo. The road lines, the lights, the lines in the tile, and the top of the concrete barriers all are lines that lead the eye to the tunnel opening ahead.

The Blue Umbrella is a Pixar short that originally was shown before Monsters University in theaters in 2013. I remember I preordered the short on iTunes before it was even released and when it was I watched it more than five times in a row. I was amazed that this short was made completely inside the computer and did not manipulate footage first. I remember being amazed at the time of how someone could tell such a powerful a story in such a short time with no words. I had seen Pixar shorts before but none affected me as much as this one did. 
I really enjoyed this short and I watch often to this day.
