Worked on ideating for their social media posts. This was for their Donate Page (Khazana). The idea was to focus on the images which show all the murals and community work they have done in the past and add very minimal illustrations on it :)

Been coordinating with artists for the Zine on love bodies and pleasure. I illustrated this one story after many sketches and finalising the style. The idea is that each story has a different illustration style. So this is just for one of the stories

I finalised the podcast covers and we decided to stick with the resources and not the illustration I did, because the assets were already used in many other places, related to this campaign. However they want to use my style of illustration for another project.

Finished one out of four of the podcast covers as well as one page of the website.I will have to present my redesign of the website on Friday to get the first round of feedback.

I reviewed their existing website and made notes on what can be improved and how the design could make it easier to navigate through it.

I gave the team my thoughts and now I will work on the actual redesign. :)

I’m also incharge of a project where we are making a zine to do with love bodies and pleasure which was an idea that came out of the first workshop. I’ll be working and coordinating with another artist on this.

This Friday evening was the last workshop in the series, after which today morning we had a call where we reflected on things that could be better and what worked and what didn't. My role after this is to take forward any concrete ideas that came up in the discussions and coordinate with willing artists and participants.

For e.g, one project that came out was creating a zine about love and womens bodies.

Worked on more sketches of the spreads and tried a different rendering style keeping in mind the feedback that was given to me. :)

Had a call with Shilo to talk about the script of the graphic novel. Worked on the sequence as well as edited some of the language.

I thought the annual report was done but I underestimated the about of edits we went through. There was a round to make design changes and a round to check the copy and proofread it. But now the report is done. 

Simultaneously I worked on more social media posts.

This week I focused on the graphic novel, by starting out with rough sketches on paper and cleaning them up digitally. I wanted to get a clear idea of how the spreads would look and where the text would go.

For the graphic novel, I experimented with different styles and finalised the one above. During a feedback session she asked me to play around with textures as its looking a bit flat, as well try different colour palettes. She otherwise liked the compositions as well as the rendering of the characters. :)

Finally finished the 80 page annual report, It was tedious and halfway through we realised it looked too dense and full as a complete design as I made the mistake of looking at each page separately as opposed to the report as a whole. I stuck to the brand guide colours and style which is shades of red, rose and gold. :)

These are the posts in both story as well as post format for the antidote campaign. It was part of their workshop which I attended. 

The annual report was looking really dense and full and needed a lot of adjustments so I continued working on that.

So I continued on the annual report, as well as worked on the script for the graphic novel, once the script and sketches are in place I will get my second round of feedback.

This week was busy as I designed her companies annual report, which meant reading information, analysing it and presenting it in the best way possible for her investors, while following a certain style. These are just a few pages but the report was about 60 pages long, so its still ongoing.

I also designed a poster where the brief was, design a fearless poster for the current times. My take was that even after all this, people will be slightly hesitant about human touch, and I wanted my poster to reiterate how we shouldn't ever be afraid of it.

I’m interning with fearless collective an organisation by Shilo Shiv Suleman. Ill be working on design work for her, as well as a personal project that she will mentor me in. The first week went by with me designing layouts for a social media campaign called antidote, which is a workshop series. I attended the workshop which spoke about love, sex and pleasure in these times.

 I finalised my personal project idea. Its going to be a graphic novel where I tell the story of a girl who reclaims spots in the city that were tainted by an abusive relationship. This is a deeply personal project I’ve wanted to work on for a while, but the timing was never right. I’m excited to finally materialise all of my personal emotions and thoughts into a story people can immerse themselves in.
