I would love to yap more because I actually *love* sharing random bits and things, but these days have just sort of been... not really that great tbh. It's just not in me. But there are some nice things I'm able to work on in my free time!

and one of them is definitely my Brant x Rover fic (still in draft form 🫣) and reminded me I really wanted to do OC x Roland from PGR! It's been a really long time now since I played, but I kind of returned to it. And the more I work on it… the more I'd like to see it finished.

These two fics have synergized really well off each other. The more I work on one, the more I am motivated to work on the other. I >want< to put more time into this.

And also, it's really fun because I get to work on it with my partner since they are her favorites too. I like having my ideas be heard, and having her throw ideas at me, or if she has some funny scene she wants to happen. I have been in such low spirits these days but making something together is seriously amazing. I'm trying to build the habit of spending less time hyperfixating on dumb shit, and more on creating things that bounce back at me positively. It surprising how difficult it is to sometimes change your focus when it feels so natural and normal.

I also want to fix my innate need to make everything „extremely good“. I need to fix my habit of entering work mode rather than taking joy in something silly and letting it take me somewhere new. I want it to take up space even if it isn't perfect. So I'll try to relax a bit when writing.
