Because the OW2 drop has me all nostalgic, this morning I remembered this sketch I liked but never posted because I always meant to do something with it. But that was at the beginning of 2019 and I never did, so here it is, while the OG designs are still relevant for a couple hours lol.

I understand most of my Overwatch ships are/were crack, but I still believe strongly that Zarya/Sombra is the most slept on of them all. Okay, have a wonderful day.

Perhaps something with Zarya and Sombra just hanging out and having a good time at a themebpark?

”You know, you don’t have to do this” Sombra said, as Zarya got in line for the high striker.

“Da. I promised you the biggest teddy bear. That is the biggest teddy bear. I will not lose.” Zarya promised as the line moved ahead.

“These games are all rigged” Sombra glanced up at the taller woman “so don’t take it personally if it doesn’t work.”

Zarya let out a snort “no machine can beat me! Rigged or not, I will defeat it!”

Sombra sighed. Zarya was going to be disappointed. Why had she said she wanted the biggest prize? She knew that most of the games were rigged, and Zarya was too damn trusting of this world.

And then it was Zarya’s turn.

“I am winning the big bear” she informed the man handing her the hammer.

“That’s the top prize. Good luck” the guy responded.

“I do not need luck” Zarya lifted the hammer high about her head. “I am the strongest!”

And then she slammed the hammer down with enough force to make both Sombra and the poor guy jump where they stood, as the puck speeded towards the top and made the bell ring out loudly!

“YOU DID IT!” Sombra cheered.

“Da. Of course” Zarya said confidently, her ears turning a little pink.

Sombra gave her a big hug, before excitedly pointing at the giant teddy bear. It was almost bigger than her.

It was the best gift she had ever gotten.

Zaryas Christmas card looks to be hastily written. The text on the back is mostly readable and straight, but at places it looks rushed. On the front is a polar bear with a red Christmas hat.
