I don't want to ask AI a question. I don't want AI to write my sentences for me, at all ever. I don't want AI search bars to be the default and I don't want them to be in such a way that I can't opt out. I don't want this kind of AI in my life and there is no such thing as AI art, there is only theft of art from human artists by AI scrapers. I don't want any of this, I hate it. Maybe in a world that isn't driven by tech bro capitalism we can see machines doing all the dangerous inane things so humans can be free to pursue life and creativity. But that's not what's happening right now and I hate it.

TW: Abortion, harassment, far-right violence

Today in Poland, in the city of Oleśnica, a group of far-right extremists, including known far-right politician Grzegorz Braun and his activist cronies, trapped a female doctor inside a hospital for performing a LEGAL abortion.

Let me repeat that: a LEGAL medical procedure done by a trained, professional woman in a hospital and she was imprisoned and terrorized for it by a group of men who think their personal beliefs should outweigh human rights, medical ethics, and the fucking law.

They stormed the hospital. They harassed medical staff. They filmed themselves like proud little fascists. And the woman they targeted? She had to call for HELP. SHE WAS TRAPPED. IN HER OWN PLACE OF WORK. FOR DOING HER JOB.

This isn't just disgusting, this is terrorism. This is intimidation. This is the kind of horror women in Poland have been screaming about for years, ever since PiS and their extremist allies began clawing away at reproductive rights.

Abortion in Poland is already so heavily restricted it's basically banned in most cases and still, even when someone does everything "by the book," she’s hunted down and harassed by angry men who think they’re soldiers in some holy war.

I’m beyond angry. I’m tired. I’m scared for every doctor, every woman, every pregnant person who’s going to see this and think: “What if I’m next?”

This is not just about Oleśnica. This is about a system that lets these thugs get away with it. That gives them microphones, cameras, and political platforms to spread their hate.

I hope to god this woman is safe. I hope she knows she’s supported. And I hope we never stop screaming about this until this country finally starts protecting its people instead of persecuting them.
