Think about the difference between optimists and pessimists. Optimists spend their whole lives 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 that everything is absolutely perfect and nothing will ever go wrong. Imagine living your whole childhood thinking you want to live on you own and have a lot of kids and animals and thinking you will have a lot of money and be happy. Imagine growing up, LIVING in that optimism, and then adulthood hits you like a brick. You can't pay for your tuition, even through those thousands of dollars of student loans you took out...that you also won't be able to pay for. Think about taxes and bills and utilties and gas and having a job while still trying to find time to have a social life. Think about all those shattered dreams, all those whimsical fansies you once craved. You will realize that the world is not as it seems. But then, as a pessimist you know it is coming. You know your life will go to crap and that you will always get the life you knew you would have, but never wanted. You know you will watch people around you get the life they always wanted but never knew they would have. You know you will grow up in this dark and dreary place, longing to be rid of the oppression against you for being a women or being a man or being young or being old or being straight or being gay or loving life or hating it. You know you will never be happy. But you know what? I once saw something that said, "But out of limitations comes creativity..." Now what do you think Debbie Allen meant when she said that? Certainly not to sit back and watch the world destroy itself. No, she said that because she wanted to ignite a spark in every single person on this Earth to do something about the situation they are in. Not just complain and let the next generation try to fix it. Stand up! Fight back! Never limit your challenges, instead, challenge your limits! Grow yourself! Don't let ANYONE tell you that you are nothing because you aren't. You are incredible important and no one can tell you otherwise. So go out there and conquer the world my friends, because if you don't, who will?
