what would be a good platform to post art?

(DISCLAIMER THIS IS IN MT OPINION AND THE SOCIAL MEDIAS I USE!) And also it will be long 🥺

First tumblr:

pros: option for put multiple photos including adding photos on texts, dont low resolution that much, good tag option, posibility of edit text, better interaction between users (comments in the reblogs or comments in the tags or comments in the notes)

Cons: people are using less and less tumblr and is not a popular social media, art can lost traction easily, there is more likes than reblogs and unless twitter; tumblr users have the option for hide their likes. So like it doesnt get attention from likes but from reblogs.

Twitter: pros: art can get traction easily and fast, you can see twitter likes so art can get traction based on retweets but also likes. You can get a fanbase more fast that other social medias.

Cons: cut photos wrong, only option for add 4 photos, limit of characters, tag option looks bad and lost the eas from the tweet, no edit option, requote is annoying and u can lose traction if the requote tweet get popular. Less interaction from users (people just tend to give a like/retweet. They usually dont leave a comment). Can be irregular u can do a popular art and get 24k likes but only increase 100 followers from the original you have is a type of roulette

Instagram: pros: multiple multimedia option (you can combine photos, videos, gifs in one post), good tag option, art can get traction easily, good interaction from users (mainly from the section comment but insta users are more active that twitter ones for leave comments).

Cons: no reshare option (the only option for promote other art is on insta stories and most user fanbase dont check them) only likes. Low quality of photos very much can looks way too pixelated sometimes, hard get a big fanbase (people most of the time leave a comment or just a like in one of your posts and leave)

Basically tumblr has the better options for post art but is more hard to get actual traction. Twitter for the other hand has too many problems at the moment for share art but your posibilities for get traction are bigger but is a roulette so you dont know how will works. Instagram you can easily get traction at any drawing u can post with the proper tags but dont have a proper option for share art wich make get followers harder.

(DA is super hard in get both traction and followers so dont bother and I still dont use face for share an opinion)

In conclusion. I think Insta and Twitter are the ones that most help to get easily traction. But you have to use them at the same time.
