Very funny. At first I was all in and then the characters started to disappoint me a little, but I was like "hey, this is a comedy, don't hold it against them." Gotta say, Guillermo is what really got me through. His struggle throughout the show was compelling to me. The end of the show was nice too. Loved the cyclical nature of it all.

Finished Andor!!

Fantastic show. I have yet to do a Rogue One rewatch but I'm sure when I do it will hit much harder. Tony Gilroy may not have been interested in easter eggs or references but I loved all the connections to other Star Wars stuff both Legends and Disney Canon. I was a little bummed that we didn't get more K-2SO but those episodes about Kleya made her unforgettable.

Finished Star Trek Prodigy!!

I'm so glad we got a second season. I really got attached to these kids by the end. Even Dal. The finale felt like a good send off and this all feels like a closed circle. They even tie things into season one of Picard, almost like Netflix knew they weren't going to make a third season. Overall it was a fun time and for a while there we had nonstop Trek.

Finished Galactica 1980!

Certainly not as good as the original but I don't think anyone expected it to be. The first half was fairly uninteresting with new characters who were pale counterparts to Apollo and Starbuck. The setting was also boring, Earth. The last half did take a bit of an upturn however and I found myself laughing at the children's dialogue. The child actors were pretty great too. The final episode was very good but ultimately frustrating as it left the fate of one of our greatest heroes up in the air. I get it though, if I could have him come back for an episode I would.

Finished The Penguin!

That was really good television but also it was hard to watch sometimes. Particularly that last bit with Vic. It was cool to hang out more in the Matt Reeves Batman world especially since the next movie is so far away and we don't even know if we are getting the Gotham PD show.

Finished Battlestar Galactica (1978-79)!

For a show that was blatantly riding the coat tails of Star Wars it was great! Women pilots, an open relationship, and a woman initiating a kiss?! All these things should be normal to us, obviously, but back in 79 it must have been very progressive. I will be watching Galactica 1980 next but I can't wait to watch the 2005 reboot.

Not much I want to say about this one. Kind of a bitter conclusion for most of the people involved. At least Sally and John Jr. have a happy ending.
