If Jon going to fell in love with Sansa, there is no way he will going to love anyone even if he feel guilty. Grrm will either show jonsa or jonerys, not both. Considering Dany is complete opposite of Sansa and him. Show completely botched this by shoving lackluster romance of jonerys in our throats and incompleted jonsa. Only one pair can happen to be meaningful enough for last 2 books and it's certainly not agony, I mean Aegony.
I agree Anon.
Just the other day reading Littlefinger killing Lysa scene from the Books, it felt so similar to Jon killing his aunt in the Show. I'm not the first one saying this, there are a lot of memes about it out there, but the book scene and the show scene are really really similar.
Both scenes take place the near a throne, the Weirwood Throne and the Iron Throne.
Just after a a kiss and a supposed declaration of love, both men killed the women that just threatened Sansa's life.
The women looked at their killers with surprise but they said nothing and died in silence.

Also these quotes:
"Tell me, Alayne—which is more dangerous, the dagger brandished by an enemy, or the hidden one pressed to your back by someone you never even see?"
"The hidden dagger."
"There's a clever girl."
—A Storm of Swords - Sansa VI
Lysa and Jon's aunt never saw the hidden dagger coming from their lovers....
"Daenerys Targaryen has wed some Dothraki horselord. What of it? Shall we send her a wedding gift?"
The king frowned. "A knife, perhaps. A good sharp one, and a bold man to wield it."
—A Game of Thrones - Eddard II
“Yet I ask you this—should war come again, how many soldiers will die? How many towns will burn? How many children will be ripped from their mothers to perish on the end of a spear?” He stroked his luxuriant white beard, infinitely sad, infinitely weary. “Is it not wiser, even kinder, that Daenerys Targaryen should die now so that tens of thousands might live?”
(...) Littlefinger was the last. As Ned looked to him, Lord Petyr stifled a yawn. "When you find yourself in bed with an ugly woman, the best thing to do is close your eyes and get on with it," he declared. "Waiting won't make the maid any prettier. Kiss her and be done with it."
"Kiss her?" Ser Barristan repeated, aghast.
"A steel kiss," said Littlefinger.
Robert turned to face his Hand. "Well, there it is, Ned. You and Selmy stand alone on this matter. The only question that remains is, who can we find to kill her?"
(...) Littlefinger shrugged. "Titles are cheap. The Faceless Men are expensive. If truth be told, I did the Targaryen girl more good than you with all your talk of honor. Let some sellsword drunk on visions of lordship try to kill her. Likely he'll make a botch of it, and afterward the Dothraki will be on their guard. If we'd sent a Faceless Man after her, she'd be as good as buried."
—A Game of Thrones - Eddard VIII
A steel kiss....

I had an ask but for some reason it wouldn't post my answer. So I hope you still see it!
It mentioned how Arya is the one that's connected in the books and show to Jonsa. With Arya telling Sansa that Jon didn't like Joffrey in the books. And then in the show, Arya tells Jon that Sansa doesn't like Dany much.
"She doesn't like your queen, does she?" -Arya
Tumblr media
*Screams inside*
Tumblr media
But going back to the first season, we see Jon upset, and Joffrey and Sansa smiling at each other. This links to the books as well. With this..
"Sansa looked radiant as she walked beside him, but Jon did not like Joffrey's pouty lips or the bored, disdainful way he looked at Winterfell's Great Hall." -AGOT, JON I
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I LOVE THE FACT that both Sansa and Jon happen to be jealous at Winterfells feasts . With Jon being jealous over Joffrey in the first feast, and Sansa being jealous over Dany in the last feast.

“When they told Jaime he was not allowed in the birthing room, he smiled and asked which of them proposed to keep him out. Joffrey will show you no such devotion, I fear.” -ACOK, Sansa IV
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Sansa, two years older, drew the crown prince, Joffrey Baratheon. He was twelve, younger than Jon or Robb, but taller than either, to Jon’s vast dismay. Prince Joffrey had his sister’s hair and his mother’s deep green eyes. A thick tangle of blond curls dripped down past his golden choker and high velvet collar. Sansa looked radiant as she walked beside him, but Jon did not like Joffrey’s pouty lips or the bored, disdainful way he looked at Winterfell’s Great Hall.”-AGOT, Jon I

Jon was Sansa’s devotion in a man, he did everything to make her feel safe.

FIND SANSA’S HUSBAND™
After Daenerys Targaryen died, and Game of Thrones wrapped up about 5 minutes later (a time for wolves…?), many viewers were left with so many unanswered questions, and I’m going to argue that no bigger plot point was left unresolved than the Stark line of succession. As in, who will Sansa marry and/or father her children.
Now I noticed almost immediately something hilarious emerge through all that uncertainty, and that’s this almost canon-like widespread belief that Sansa will in fact marry…
Some Guy. Some Noble. Some Highborn. Some Northerner. Some Lord. Some Heir.
“Sansa will obviously marry some Northern son of high nobility to unify the kingdom.”
“Sansa will probably marry some 2nd or 3rd son of a major house in the South, to strengthen Southern alliances and trade opportunities.”
I know you’ve seen it, and it’s amazing, isn’t it? Oh, you know, Sansa is going to marry some man of high nobility, probably Northern but maybe not, potentially an heir but maybe a 3rd or 4th son as they’ll have to abandon their titles. It’s just that simple guys.
Listen, I’m not going to sit here and pretend this mystery holds the same weight as who ends up on the Iron Throne, but Sansa’s eventual marriage and her potential suitors is a colossal moving plot throughout the entirety of the series. It’s the foundation of some of the biggest storylines, linking the biggest characters and houses. It’s not a minor detail. To suggest Some Noble Guy is just going to show up behind door number two in the final act or epilogue, and that will be the end of that, is asinine. And it’s lazy.
And I promise you their primary motivation, whether they even realize it or not, is to dismiss and downgrade the importance of her and her storyline. Sansa is going to marry Some Noble Guy. It’s not really necessary information, you can move on now.
Besides being complete bullshit, it of course also begs the question -
Whom, exactly, are they speaking of?
Here’s the thing, we already know the major houses, we already know the major players, we already know the noteworthy fathers and sons across the entire continent, and their status within the story. Meaning, we already know Sansa’s husband. He has a name. He’s out there, sitting on one of the pages, just waiting to win the lottery.
So compelled by this mystery, motivated by being so annoyed, and suddenly having all the time in the world while in quarantine, I decided I wanted to find him.
So, join me on this journey as I play the game of,

The Synergy of Jon and Sansa: Sansa Gave him Back his Name
So by now everyone knows what happened in season eight with respect to the Jon and Sansa plot.  The two were reunited in season six and formed a strong bond that was tested but reaffirmed in seasons seven and eight.  The show did a lot of interesting things with Sansa and Jon during season six, seemingly positioning the two of them as the new Ned and Catelyn, complete with hair and costume choices that were reminiscent of the Lord and Lady of Winterfell in season one. Although Sansa doubted some of Jon’s decisions in seasons six and seven, she didn’t overtly oppose him when encouraged to do so by some of the Northern lords and Littlefinger.  We didn’t get a lot of scenes that really depicted their deepened relationship in seasons six and seven; but it was certainly implied in the way Sansa behaved.  Even at the very end, she lamented to Jon that the Northerners had lost their King.  In Jon’s case, he ultimately chose Sansa and the Stark family over Dany.  Unlike Jon’s own statement to Theon Greyjoy in season seven about having a dual identity, Jon did have to choose, and he chose the Starks.  His remark to Dany about everyone being able to live together probably was at least partly about his two identities and trying to reconcile them. But ultimately he was not able to integrate the two in that way because he chose the Starks over Dany.
Jon’s name being taken from him when he was an infant, through no fault of his own, set him on a difficult path of being branded as a bastard.  We all know why Ned Stark did what he did, and why it was the right choice.  But Jon was marked deeply nonetheless.  His advice to Theon was another example of his selflessness and ability to empathize with broken and downtrodden people.  Instead of condemning Theon, Jon tried to help him find a path to integration and healing.  That is almost always Jon’s first impulse; to try to find a way to unite disparate factions and identities.  It also turns out to be his own ultimate tragedy when he discovers his own true identity - Dany’s actions make it impossible for him to find integration for himself.  Instead he has to kill her and symbolically at least, kill a part of himself.
Perhaps surprisingly, Sansa is the one who attempts to resolve the dilemma of Jon’s two natures.  This is probably not what she overtly had in mind when she reveals Jon’s true identity to Tyrion, but that’s the way her action functions on a symbolic level.  Her father, Ned, hid Jon’s name from the world, and Sansa gave it back to him.
Sansa’s action is interesting not only because she was trying to save Jon by giving him his name, but also because it demonstrated her own acceptance of Jon’s Targaryen side.  Her act was a way of showing him a way to live both of his identities in the world.  Ostensibly it seemed to fail because Jon was not crowned as the King in the way that Sansa and Varys wanted.  But nevertheless, Sansa was sending Jon a message that was similar to Jon’s advice to Theon:  “You don’t have to choose, you are a Targaryen and a Stark,” that’s the gist of it.
In its essence, the attempt to integrate identities is a real advancement over what we are accustomed to seeing happen in the Seven Kingdoms, where one’s name is everything.  Ironically, Jon Snow, who never had a true name, all along had a name that could have given him everything. Yet he had to sacrifice that for a greater good, and for Sansa.  So oddly, Jon and Sansa form a strange synergy at the end of the series:  She tried to give something back to him that he had to sacrifice for her.

Favourite Jon x Sansa Endgame Foreshadowing
Another day of quarantine, and I’m back on my Jonsa bullshit.
Got bored and decided to gather and rank my favourite Jon x Sansa book foreshadowing. Decided to leave parallels, chapter orders, and when they think of each other out of it. Just the good old juicy foreshadowing. The hidden text within the text.
Important to note, I discovered… none of these. I’m just a regular consumer of much smarter people. If you’re bored and want to read more, I went ahead and linked some of my favourite metas to accompany most entries.
If you have an interesting meta or think piece to share regarding any of the text, feel free to link and I’ll add.
21. Dragonflies
Another dragonfly was moving across the water, or perhaps it was the same one. What shall it be, Dunk? he asked himself. Dragonflies or dragons? – The Hedge Knight

20. A Tale of Two Vals
Then Ghost emerged from between two trees, with Val beside him. They look as though they belong together. Val was clad all in white; white woolen breeches tucked into high boots of bleached white leather, white bearskin cloak pinned at the shoulder with a carved weirwood face, white tunic with bone fastenings. Her breath was white as well… but her eyes were blue, her long braid the color of dark honey, her cheeks flushed red from the cold. It had been a long while since Jon Snow had seen a sight so lovely. – ADWD, Jon XI
Beyond, the haunted forest waited, dark and silent. The light of the half-moon turned Val’s honey-blond hair a pale silver and left her cheeks as white as snow. She took a deep breath. “The air tastes sweet.” “My tongue is too numb to tell. All I can taste is cold.” – ADWD, Jon VIII
“OH, SWEET SHE WAS, AND PURE, AND FAIR! THE MAID WITH HONEY IN HER HAIR!” “You will love Highgarden as I do, I know it.” Margaery brushed back a loose strand of Sansa’s hair. – ASOS, Sansa I
Ser Jorah spent most of his waking hours pacing the forecastle or leaning on the rail, gazing out to sea. Looking for his silver queen. Looking for Daenerys, willing the ship to sail faster. – ADWD, Tyrion VIII
