I'M GOING ON A TUMBLR BREAK

Originally my break from Tumblr wasn't going to start until the end of the week (my work week at least, which is usually Sundays). I was also planning for the break to be just with reading posts.

But I've decided to take a full break for a while. I'm not sure exactly how long of a break I'm going to take. The longest I'll be off Tumblr is likely the end of July, but I might not be gone for THAT long at the same time. I'm not really sure yet.

My reason for this being the latest date I'll name is I said back in January that I'd shift before the year was half over. End of July specifically.

The semester ending has a lot of my focus right now too. I want to step away from taking in information from shifting community spaces for a bit to internalize exactly what I personally believe. The most information that isn't my own realizations I'll read is any of Goddard's books.

But aside from that I'll be focusing on myself. Both the physical me in this reality's needs, which honestly some of them I've been drastically putting off, and then of course my consciousness and subconscious in my shifting journey.

The only reason that this could be cut shorter than anticipated is coming back to share the news that I expect to be sharing by the time I would be planning to be back anyways.

That I shifted.

So I was trying to think of a way to actually properly script scenarios without sitting and scripting like I'm writing a story.

I remembered those 'ABCs' in a lot of one-shot fics that are usually used for like head canons (I.E. in the case of romance headcanons it's something like A= Affection: their favorite way to show, well, affection).

It also dawned on me that I could pair this with music because I usually daydream scenarios when listening to music. Gonna go a bit music major here with my wording, but basically I can take the lyrical themes of the song and create little script tidbits based on parts of the lyrics.

An example being that due to some of the lyrics I think of the Diamonds from my Steven Universe DR when listening to Hozier's "Too Sweet". So in line with that, I'll focus specifically on the lines in the image.

I feel like who I associate with what can be easy to figure out. But for this example, I'd use this whole part of the song and try to write some sort of scripting snippet about each Diamond for each part of this section of the song.

A fun kind of slice of life moment, a quieter more relaxed moment, what about them makes me like them, and some sort of cute fluffy moment respectively.

Wanted to share this so anyone else who also has trouble with scripting had another idea to try out!

The aesthetic of my most recent DR. 😊 From the silly shit I was up to in childhood in the 80s and 90s, all the way to the motorbike racing and computer science of my adulthood in the 2000s and 2010s.

Yeah I've actually been scripting for this for like 5 days now. And by scripting I mean daydreaming and focusing on shifting cause screw writing down anything I know what the fuck I'm doing at this point 😂 (at least with this DR, I've forgotten even my own name sometimes with others...)

My log is officially up. I'm slowly working on that DR intro but if I don't have it up by the end of the week I might put it off for a little bit due to the break I'm planning to take from Tumblr for a bit. It'll give me some extra time for scripting things I might want to include in the intro anyways.

Countless times that I SWEAR I feel my s/o (whichever one of them I've been most fixated on at least) next to me only for me to barely move and realize that nah I'm in my CR... 😭

Like my CR just comes swooping in like:
