NOVEMBER FEATURED FOLLOWER POST

Congratulations to this month's featured follower, @zelda113! Zelda has been with me since almost the beginning of my blog. Every so often she'll binge my posts and leave a ton of comments and its always so exciting, I spend hours just rereading them.

The character she asked me to highlight is her oc, Falconfrost. Falconfrost is smart, stubborn, and a good hunter. She doesn't like to admit she was wrong but she can be very compassionate and will not hesitate to leap to a Clanmate's defense.

Next month I'll pick another follower! I'll be trying to pick people who reblog and comment so if you're interested in being considered, that's the way to get my attention. Please do not message me or ask to be featured.

I finally bought the drawing tablet a few days ago! It’s an XP-PEN Artist 12 for anyone curious. I was originally gonna get a more expensive XP-PEN, but I decided the amount of usage I’d get out of it wouldn’t have justified the cost.

It seems to work pretty well so far, especially for a cheaper/budget tablet. We’ll see how it holds up over time! I’m planning to start my first “real” piece on it (rather than just testing & sketches) this weekend.

Hey all, it’s been a while! I’ve been saving up for a drawing tablet (usually I use my phone…lol). I wanted to draw my next planned piece of art on it, but I’m always hesitant to spend a lot of money on things, especially buying stuff online.

The tablet isn’t terribly expensive, but with shopping online I’m always afraid that I’ll drop a lot of money on something and it won’t end up working/won’t be what I wanted, especially with electronics. But I think I’m gonna get it in a few weeks at least! Might make some art on my phone on the side.

I did 3 attacks this year (my first time doing art fight); I only have 2 posted here bc one character’s owner did not want their character posted on social media.

Some new WIP cat designs I haven’t gotten around to drawing yet. Which one is your favorite so far?

You’ll notice that Robinflame is the only one with a fleshed-out personality so far. That’s because he’s based off of someone very close to me irl. Also, I may make one (or both) of the other two nonbinary or have different pronouns other than she/her and he/him.

Note: I used a cat maker on DeviantArt for Ospreystrike’s design. It’s a Flash game, so I’m not sure if it works anymore.

If it’s hard to read (I was using my finger on my phone lol), here’s a typed version under the cut:

Was almost named “Robinheart”, but -heart is used too often

My first Warriors OC, Falconfrost!

She's a great hunter, relying on her razor-sharp vision and weirdly long, thin claws. She’s passable at fighting and would probably be better if she actually liked it. Falcon is a pretty tall cat, but skinny and light under all of that fur.

In terms of personality, she’s stubborn and sometimes finds it hard to need help from others. She’s also an ambivert, leaning more towards introvert.

Falcon cares deeply about others but has a very relaxed demeanor, which can sometimes come off as indifference or even coldness. Winter is her favorite season despite the hardships it brings, and her long pelt is well-suited for it. She likes to think she got her suffix from her love of cold weather. Her prefix is from the unusual coloring on her back paws as well as her vision.

I made this in September last year (and it’s one of my more recent pieces, so that tells you how often I draw). It’s Tigerstar as a superhero (villain?) called Fearsome Flower. Just a silly little drawing I made for a Warriors discord server art challenge. I believe I intended for him to be able to control plants with those bands around his legs and tail.
