Now that we are on an app that people pride themselves on looking nice on, lets have a conversation about screen reader accessibility.

What I am talking about mainly in this post is the use of languages as an aesthetic and how to keep your blog safe for tumblrs blind and hard of sight members.

Screen reader accessibility !!

What is a screen reader? A screen reader is something on electronic devices that blind and hard of sight people use, it reads everything on screen out loud so that blind and hard of sight people can use social media and enjoy the things we do! If you would like to test one and try it out, go to your phone settings under accessibility.

Why is it important to know how they work and how to make sure my blog works with them? Because blind and hard of sight people deserve to enjoy the things seeing people do online, alot of blogs and websites do not work at all with screenreaders, so we should push to be more accessible for our blind and hard of sight friends!
