archiving / deleting older templates with low popularity. the deciding factor here is how many downloads in the last 3 months, and weighing the total downloads since the template was uploaded. if i just think it's ugly and outdated enough, i'll just delete it lol.

making a couple personal carrds based off suggestions from the server.

due to deleting old templates, this may mean they'll disappear from your templates folder. if you've already made a website with a template, this should not affect it. if you have yet to use a template, please consider using it now, editing it, and saving it for later.

yes i hear y'all, a lot of old links are broken! before you message me, please check for the template on my new masterlist on my also new blog. every link is updated and should be working. they are also direct links to my carrd "storefront".

in another update, all carrds are now pay what you can or free. i may charge for new templates in the future depending on difficulty, but for the foreseeable future, templates are now on a pay what you can scale.

hi friends! just wanted to pop onto the dash and chime in.

i have not had the time nor the energy to cater to making resources or doing commissions anymore. when i opened my commissions, i was seriously full of free time and struggling to make ends meet. i started a short term job and it took up way more time than i anticipated, and it exhausted me, but i love my job (like, i'm legit incredibly happy with where at work, who i work with, and the mission of the place) and became a little consumed by it. we were incredibly understaffed for two weeks so i picked up extra hours to the point i was working 12-15 hour days. it's an educational center, so i also had to cover for people who were not there, so i'd be up late at night writing lesson plans for the next morning. it was a lot of hard work, but my supervisor was also very in tune and stepped in before i was over exhausted and delegated my tasks to others.

anyways, my heart just doesn't lie in making resources quite anymore. it was legit something i wanted to do because i had so much fun and i loved seeing people use my stuff, and i LOVED doing commissions and making people's visions come true. but ever since i started my new job, weighed out my priorities and figured out some stuff with my career, i've greatly pushed my resources aside. another note, unfortunately, is while i was gone, i came back to numerous messages begging me to keep releasing stuff, complaining about pricing, name calling, angry that i wasn't active ... which was like, weird to say the least. it didn't bother me much, but it was just annoying and made my interest wane even more.

this webbed site hasn't even entered my brain for the past month or so. it sucks to say the least, but it's nice to have time and money for my real life hobbies instead of just being inside and on a computer all day. also since april, i've fostered a puppy, went on a trip, experienced some insane tumultuous family drama (like i went no contact with my parents for a while), celebrated my two year anniversary with my partner and so much more. i'm just incredibly happy to be alive.

that being said, i will not be tending to my blogs that much anymore unless i end up feeling particularly interested in doing something. psd's, carrds, templates, commissions, etc will be on hold for the forseeable future. if i get the hankerin' to do something, i will, but this is just not a priority for me at all anymore.

i'll be reaching out to those i've been neglecting to communicate with. my ghosting and communication issues the past month or so have been entirely on me and is NOT fair to anyone wanting a commission. to that, i sincerely apologize.

i know i have some broken links for stuff; i will be fixing those shortly. i had some issues with ko-fi and carrd that i have to deal with, and when that gets sorted i'll update all broken links.

Hello. It's been a while since I wanted to say this to you and to other Carrd helpers. I really wanted to buy your Carrds, but I realize how the price is almost unattainable for us Brazilians. A $10 Carrd costs 52 reais. I wanted to buy your latest $5 Carrd, and it costs 20 reais! Besides, PayPal doesn't process Brazilian payments, nor does Carrd normally. Can you see any alternative way to help us? Several creators make the content available for free to Brazilians or Latin Americans, but could you consider a special price for us?

hi everyone! here's what's happening ... i very frequently receive inquiries about commissions, which is awesome, but i come across several problems while trying to work with people : i get ghosted midway through the process, i am expected to 100% know what they want though they don't get me any information, i am disrespected through the process, i am expected to have a complete product before receiving payment, or i'm expected to have a commission done within like two days. secondly, i know there's expectations i cannot meet without making adjustments, such as speedy response times or better support/help for anyone struggling with carrd making processes. so i've devised a plan.

i will be making a discord server, available to the public. it'll be easy to use, a great way to get in touch with me when i'm not logged into my resource account, and a BIG way to reduce stress on my part. there'll be updates for new PSDs, gif packs, carrd templates, channels specifically for carrd support, and commissions!!!

i've struggled quite a bit with offering public commissions. i've been left frustrated and confused multiple times, and often felt guilty for being ghosted, but i'm also at a point where i want to take this seriously and make this a hustle to supplement my job. i do enjoy taking commissions, i love communicating with customers and learning about people's visions/characters/etc, i love the lore dumping, i love all of it. to mitigate the constant issues with ghosting etc, i will only be making most of my commissions available through this discord server. there will be announcements and frequent updates, and it'll be a lot easier to discuss one-on-one, answer questions, etc. i've always preferred moving my commission related communications to discord anyways, so i feel this will be easier.

this does not mean i won't be active here; i will still be answering messages, i will still post for commissions occasionally, i will still be making templates available for free/to the public/low cost. i will still be taking commission inquiries, but i will not move the process further without clearly communicating expectations for both of us.

i feel this is the easiest way for me to operate as of right now, and it'll help with a lot of communication issues!

TO REITERATE: i'm not cutting contact through tumblr whatsoever, i will still be taking inquiries of all kinds, but the best way to obtain a commissions and have frequent updates and fast response times will be through this server.

i am 100% open to feedback as i'm not at all experienced with discord servers, and this will be my first time operating a server; i wanna hear your thoughts to make it better. i'm taking any suggestions. just hit me up.
