You're talking about a single incident 40 years ago. And they didn't write that story to make him look bad. Sorry, but it's a bit mind-boggling that no one is holding the real culprits accountable?! Slade isn't real. (Sorry you had to hear that from me.) The whole situation would be different if the original story had been written differently. So why should I care? It was just a perverted sexual fantasy from two two real middle-aged white guys. And somehow no one ever talks about the people who think it's realistic to blame Tara. Perez literally called her a slut! That's the real problem. They're the real problem. And it doesn't really matter that this is an origin story. Comic book characters change all the time. Superman doesn't just jump around anymore. Batman doesn't have guns anymore. Oh yeah, and if we stick to the original idea, Rose shouldn't exist either. Marv only created her because he regretted killing Joey. She was never part of the original idea. You love Rose, right? So can she stay, or should we delete her? I'm sorry, but… it's so ridiculous and frustrating that you actually talk about comic book characters as if they were real people.

No. You're anti and it's obvious. You should utilize John's or Priest's retcons if you want an abusive Slade. Or the repulsive shipper fanfiction by Devin Grayson. However, in the original, there is no proof that such an event ever took place. Addie said Slade was a good parent even though she had no reason to do so. You made a false statement that has no evidence to back it up. There is a wealth of data, however, suggesting the contrary. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but don't try to sell something as truth that is just your own opinion without evidence.
