Longing
These brief periods of home, love and family are dangerous because it provides a stark contrast to the loneliness and void that my life has become. I have grown accustomed to the loneliness on this narrow and dangerous path that is managing a business. And these feelings of love and home makes me crave what is missing.
A sense of longing is a dangerous thing.

I miss you so much it hurts. It physically hurts. And I have no way of telling you.

Here's to the woman who knows where she's going and won't stop until she gets there, who knows not only what she wants from life but what she has to offer in return. Here's to the woman who expects no more from others than she is willing to give, who meets life's challenges head-on and gracefully accepts both victories and disappointments. Here's to the woman who can be successful and self-confident without losing her ability to be understanding and compassionate. Here's to a very special woman- Here's to you!

Billboard Top 50 - Filtered for adult content
I’ve been meaning to do this for awhile, but I guess it took me this long to muster the discipline to sit down and do it. I feel that music nowadays that is being played on the radio is not fit for consumption by the younger generation. Heck society in general would benefit from less songs about the degradation of women, the sexualisation of body parts, drug use, racism, and etc.
Call me old fashioned, but I feel that the songs being played on public radio should be curated to suit listeners of all ages. It doesn’t help that most of the popular songs are laden with drug use or sexual innuendoes. Radio stations have to pander to the masses, even if it corrupts the younger generation.
Of course you could argue that it should be up to the parents to decide what their child listens to or that YouTube is so much more dangerous but hey, at least I tried. I’m just trying to prove the point that a lot of the music nowadays teaches everyone that women are sexual objects, money is king, girls should have booties and etc. Don’t get me started on their music videos...
What I have done is basically taken this week’s Billboard Top 50 (I know it’s 100, but I don’t have time to go through 100), and filtered it according to the negative content in the songs.
1.       Wiz Khalifa feat. Charlie Puth – See You Again 2.       Fetty Wrap – Trap Queen – Drug use 3.       The Weeknd – Earned It 4.       Walk The Moon – Shut Up And Dance 5.       Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars – Uptown Funk – I’m torn about this song because nothing is too overt 6.       Jason Derulo – Want You To Want Me 7.       Maroon 5 – Sugar – Sexual innuendo 8.       Ellie Goulding – Love Me Like You Do – Sexual innuendo 9.       T-Wayne – Nasty Freestyle – Sexual innuendo, degradation of women, sexualisation of body parts, racial slur 10.   Ed Sheeran – Thinking Out Loud
11.   David Guetta feat. Nicki Minaj & Afrojack – Hey Mama – Sexual innuendo, degradation of women 12.   Andy Grammer – Honey, I’m Good 13.   Tove Lo – Talking Body – Sexual innuendo 14.   Flo Rida – G. D. F. R. – Sexual innuendo, degradation of women 15.   Omarion – Post To Be – Sexual innuendo, degradation of women 16.   Natalie La Rose feat. Jeremih – Somebody 17.   Meghan Trainor – Dear Future Husband 18.   DJ Snake & AlunaGeorge – You Know You Like It 19.   Fifth Harmony – Worth It – Sexual innuendo 20.   Taylor Swift – Style
21.   Nick Jonas – Chains 22.   Skrillex & Diplo – Where Are U Now 23.   Little Big Town – Girl Crush 24.   Ariana Grande – One Last Time – Promotes low self-esteem? I don’t know... 25.   Rihanna – B**** Better Have My Money – Racial slur 26.   Trey Songz – Slow Motion – Sexual innuendo, drug use 27.   Silento – Watch Me 28.   Rachel Platten – Fight Song 29.   Taylor Swift – Blank Space 30.   Britney Spears & Iggy Azalea – Pretty Girls
31.   Omi – Cheerleader 32.   George Ezra – Budapest 33.   Sam Hunt – Take Your time 34.   Taylor Swift – Shake It Off 35.   Big Sean feat. Drake – Blessings – Sexual innuendo, racial slur 36.   Major Lazer – Lean on 37.   Pitbull & Ne-Yo – Time Of Our Lives – Sexual innuendo, sexualisation of body parts 38.   Sam Smith – Lay Me Down 39.   Hozier – Take Me To Church 40.   Florida Georgia Line – Sippin’ On Fire
41.   Bandit Gang Marco – Nasty – Degradation of women, racial slur 42.   Sia – Elastic Heart 43.   Blake Shelton – Sangria 44.   Rae Sremmurd – Throw Sum Mo – Sexual innuendo, degradation of women 45.   Echosmith – Bright 46.   Nicki Minaj – Truffle Butter – Sexual innuendo, degradation of women, racial slur 47.   A Thousand Horses – Smoke 48.   Billy Currington – Don’t It – Sexual innuendo 49.   Meghan Trainor – All About That Bass 50.   Sam Smith – I’m Not The Only One
Based on the list, 32 of the songs are fit to be played for the general public. Of course you can argue that this is highly subjective and is dependent on my biases, but at least you have a general idea. What you do with this information is up to you
